Annual Day and Farewell of IHM Faridabad was organised on 5th April 24 in which Honourable Chief Guest was Sh. M.D. Sinha,IFS Principal Secretary Heritage and Tourism,Govt of Haryana.The event also had the Worthy presence of Smt. Kala Ramachandran,IPS OSD Tourism Department,Govt. Of Haryana,Sh. Jai Shiv Sharma,IES, Indian Skill Development Services,Sh. A.K. Singh , Principal FHRAI who blessed the students for their future endeavours.

The event was a complete cultural fest where students showcased their talent of dancing, singing,skit etc.
The 3rd year students were also felicitated with the various academic and non academic awards.

The Yuva Tourism Club recently held a quiz for students at for students, and IHM Faridabad students are actively participated.The club's goal is to raise awareness about tourism.Every month, the Yuva Tourism Club at IHM Faridabad participates in and organises a variety of events such as poster-making, quizzes, and more. The club activities are designed in such a way that they not only develop knowledge about tourism, but also promote sustainable tourism by improving creative thinking skills to better comprehend tourist needs.

Greetings from the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India!
Ministry of Tourism, Govt. of India (Northern Region) is organizing an online Quiz competition-2024 for the members of Yuva Tourism Clubs of Northern Region on "India's Cultural Heritage and Tourism" in association with Mind Wars (a unit of Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd. (ZEEL) for undergraduate and postgraduate students of all colleges/universities of Northern Region. The Ministry of Tourism launched the YUVA Tourism Club campaign as part of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav (AKAM). This initiative aims to create awareness and a sense of responsibility towards our country's natural and cultural heritage tourism amongst youth and develop young ambassadors of Indian tourism.
The details of the Exclusive quiz are as below:-
Group 1: Bachelor's degree students
2. The quiz can be accessed on the Mind Wars platform (available on Google Play Store/App Store)
3. There will be 20 multiple choice questions to be answered within a 10-minute timeframe.
4. The quiz can be taken in either Hindi or English.
6. All participants will receive e-Certificates of participation, while college Deans/Principals and Coordinating staff will receive e-Certificates of appreciation.
5. No participation fee is needed to participate in this quiz.
7. Top 100 scorers from each group will be awarded a gift hamper/souvenirs and merit certificate from Indiatourism, Delhi, Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, New Delhi.
8. In the next phase, the Ministry of Tourism will conduct a physical quiz competition for the winners of groups 1 and 2. The top 20 students may be considered for a Familiarization (FAM) trip organized by the Ministry of Tourism in Delhi.
9. The quiz will be open from February 25 to March 10, 2024, focusing on the theme "India's Cultural Heritage and Tourism"

4th semester students of B.S.C in HHA participated in the event related to wine.The event was organized in Mangar Farms and the students performed very well in the event.

Today students of IHM Faridabad visited Bharat Parv Mela at Lal Quila and experienced the cultural intake from all the states of India.
They also promoted their institute to the youngsters of our country, and shared their thoughts on wide scope of hospitality industry in the coming future.

ITC Maurya organized an Industry Academia Interface on 8th December 2023 for discussing the scope of improvement in Industry as well as in Colleges.
The event was headed by Team of ITC Maurya and Principal of WMI along with Chairman of NCHMCT.

NCHMCT is organising 2 competitions for the 12th and 11th grade students of senior secondary school.

Students created a stir in the cake mixing ceremony.
Every year a cake mixing ceremony is organized at the Institute of Hotel Management Faridabad on the occasion of Christmas Day. This year also a cake mixing ceremony was organized. This event was a mixture of unmatched energy, excitement, talent and enthusiasm which Along with the students of the institute, students from other schools were also overwhelmed.
The program was inaugurated by the Chief Guest of the event, Shri Mati Nisha Pradhancharya, G. B. N. Senior Secondary School, Faridabad and Principal Incharge of the Institute, Dr. Shweta Kumar.
Principal Incharge Dr. Shweta Kumar praised all the other staff members along with Mrs. Ish*ta Kirar, Mr. Jatin Miss. Deepika, Miss Diksha, Miss Vanshika, Miss Prashishti, Mr. Praveen Yadav and Mr. Deepak for successfully organizing the event and congratulated them.
At the end of the event, Principal Incharge of the institute, Dr. Shweta Kumar explained about the wide scope of Hotel Management course and said that Hotel Management course is a skilled course.And for the students taking education in this institute, there are opportunities for study abroad as well as India. She said that the student who remains disciplined and works hard will one day achieve his destination.Dr. Shweta Kumar told that the cake mixing ceremony is a traditional skill art, the purpose of celebrating which is to get the students inclined towards skill art which will benefit them in future.
