This is my first SOLO Trip to Kedarkantha Trek in Uttarkashi. I went alone but i came back with 17 new friends. Kedarkantha is the best trek for Autumn months (September - November). I know Kedarkantha is popular for winters (December-February) but in Autumn you can enjoy the views of all peaks from the Top of Kedarkantha , there will be no fog disturbing your view. and also their will be no rain in autumn so Kedarkantha is the best trek to do in Autumn months. So in this Episode we will see my journey from Dehradun to Sankri. And I booked my trek with Himalaya Shelter ( https://himalayashelter.com ) . They were the best for this trek and also the food was so good. So if you are willing to do this trek then you can book your trek with Himalaya Shelter.

This is the first Episode of Tungnath-Chandrashila Trek. In this Episode we will reach Chopta from Dehradun. So Distance between Chopta and Dehradun is around 250KM. So it took us around 7 hrs to reach there. After reaching there we headed towards our camps. The Campsite was so scenic but we wont able to experience that in this episode because we reached there at night. So stay tuned for 2nd Episode . Also, Tomorrow we will Start our Trek for Tungnath Temple and Chandrashila Peak.
