It was observed that Flooring of some of the Lifts in society was in a bad shape which has happened over a period of time due to Water spillage / Dog Urination so GGCRWA has refurbished all 22 Lifts of Society in one go by providing “ALUMINIUM Checkered Plates”

In continuation to series where we have been naming various Places / Paths in memory of Great Personalities, Our Country has produced. We have not named following places:

1) A Block (Pedestrian Gate Entry): Maharaja Vikramaditya Dwar named on Famous King who did lot of actions during BC Era (around 2400-2500 years ago) to protect Sanatan Sanskriti. He started New Currencies & Vikram Samwat Era (which is 57 Years ahead of English Calender)

2) B Block (Pedestrian Gate Entry): Maharaja Ranjit Singh Dwar named on Famous King who expanded his kingdom upto Lahore and Mughal Kings were unable to fight him

3) Party Club Hall: Dr APJ Abdul Kalam named on Ex President who was associated with Indian Space Program and popularly known as “Missile Man of India”. Party Hall has been given a New Look from inside also after White Painting

4) Party Club Hall (Entry Pathway behind C Block): Ram Prasad Bismil Path named on Freedom Fighter & Indian Revolutionary Poet / Writer, who was involved with Kakori / Mainpuri Events also which had threatened British Rule to a great extent

Today an awareness camp was organised in “Vivekanand Hall (D - Block) with support of M/s Manohar Lal Jewellers.

Expert Team of M/s Manohar Lal (Indirapuram Store) consisting of Mr Dinesh (Manager) alongwith Anju Ji & Suniti Ji gave an excellent presentation and talked about Following

1) BIS Hallmarking
2) 4” Cs of Diamond
3) Diamond Jewellery Certification
4) GIA Solitaire Certification
5) Variation of Labour Charges
6) Polki Jewellery Buying
7) Old Gold Evaluation
‘8) Jewellery as an Investment
9) Buy Back & Return Policies

Program was attended by around 30 Residents & everyone took keen interest on all the topics covered by Experts.

Entire Session was very much interactive & Residents thanked for organising such a program where good level of awareness was created by the Team of Manohar Lal Jeweller

In the end, QA session was also done & Gifts were given to Winners.

One Lucky Draw was also done & Gift was given to the Winner

Recently, we had named one of our park in name of Legendary *Major Dhyanchand* who was a Magician with Hockey Stick in his hand.

In continuation to the series, we have now named further parks of society on following stalwarts

1) P.T.Usha (उड़न तश्तरी) - An Athlete who brought pride to India in Asian Games around 40 years ago

2) Squadron Leader Rakesh Sharma (India’s 1st Astronaut in Space around 40 Years ago)

3) Dara Singh (रुस्तमे हिंद) - World Class Wrestler

We have tried to keep humour also by naming 2 Parks as below

4) चाचा चौधरी

5) Children Park as लोटपोट पार्क

Above 2 Comics have been so popular around 40-50 years ago

Gaur Green City RWA for last more than 18 years have always focused a lot of all festivals celebration, which bring togetherness & harmony in residents.

Holi Celebration was arranged by RWA Team with fanfare. Residents participated wholeheartedly in Rain Dance.

Gunjia , Pakode & Thandai were arranged by RWA Team

It was recently observed that Iron Platform below LIFT Flooring have started corroded. Safety has been our utmost concern & so it was decided by Governing Body to replace the Flooring of All 22 Lifts with “Aluminium Checkered Plates”

Refurbishment Work started today in GGC and Blue Lift of “A Block” could be completed today itself

Safety has always been a matter of prime concern to us. Danger signs have already been pasted on All Feeder Pillars installed inside society

We have started another practice to cordon off these pillars by making a brick wall around these pillars and colouring it with Red (गेरू) so that Residents can take a note of this while parking their vehicles in open parking areas

Entry Points of All Blocks are being given names of stalwarts which India has produced

To start with Blocks “A & B”, we have named the Entry Points on these 2 Great Personalities without whom It will not be worthwhile to talk about India’s Independence from British Rule.

In continuation to the series, we have named ABCD Park on Great “Major Dhyanchand” and Court near A Block in name of “Udan Sikh Milkha Singh”
