What makes an oil cold pressed?
When the machinery used is solely and fully wooden, the oil extracted is cold pressed. But that's not all. The process of extraction is what really defines it. The machine should be run at very low speed, 3-4 ram, also called bull speed. Due to this, the temperature of the oil does not increase during extraction. If temperature increases, the proteins get denatured, and the fats get saturated, so a wooden machine run at bull speed is the key to cold pressed oil!

Here's the making process of one of our most used and trusted products, the turmeric powder.
It starts by spreading the spice (that is completely grown in an organic and desi way) under the sun for it to be dried.
Next, the dried turmeric is ground in a mortar and pestle made completely out of wood to ensure hygiene and in accordance with the vedic culture of spice manufacturing, which helps in extracting all the nutritional benefits completely. It also keeps the temperature optimum. This is done by hand so as to bring it to a smaller size to be ground properly.
The small pieces of dried turmeric are then ground mechanically.
The resulting powder is then sieved through to filter out any impurities or left over larger pieces. This is the final product, which is then packaged in glass bottles that you use for yourself and your loved ones.
