The 19th edition of Udghosh is scheduled to take place from October 6th to 8th, featuring the captivating theme;The Colosseum Conquest. The stage is all set for Asia’s largest inter-college sports festival UDGHOSH. Brace yourselves for the intensity and passion that will unfold within the Colosseum Arena, as over 2500 participants from more than 450 colleges come together to compete in a staggering 75 sporting events across 20 different sports, including Cricket, Football, Badminton, Chess, E-Sports, and many more.

Beyond the sporting events, Udghosh offers a plethora of other activities to keep the spirit of camaraderie, inspiration, and fun alive. As the world progresses towards a new age of space exploration and technology, IIT Kharagpur continues to contribute to the advancement of space technology. Organized by the members of the Space Technology Students’ Society (spAts), IIT Kharagpur presents the National Students’ Space Challenge 2023 (NSSC’23). Being India’s first and largest Space-Technology fest, NSSC has always provided a platform for the young minds of India to present their talents, innovative ideas, and scientific nature in front of the world. With its unique blend of events and competitions, NSSC sparks a spirit of enthusiasm in the space sciences among the students.
The organizing society, spAts, is the official student body of Kalpana Chawla Space Technology Cell (KCSTC), the contact point of the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) at IIT Kharagpur. About :
Abhyuday IIT Bombay is organising the 10th edition of the Social Festival in IIT Bombay on the
21st and 22nd of January 2023 based on the theme ‘The Locus of Resilience’.The fest will
sensitise the youth to the pressing issues in society at a large scale, and along with
self-awareness, solutions are presented. It will also encourage discussions on prejudices and
non-highlighted social problems by esteemed activists and personalities. The fest will
encompass a wide range of workshops, events, and competitions on problems like self-defence,
women empowerment, efficient use of social media, manual scavenging awareness sessions,
mental health, and Blockchain technologies, to name a few. This year some of the speakers
and personalities who are going to grace the Fest include Ananya Birla, Arjun Kumar Reddy -

Impressions, the annual cultural fest of College of Engineering, Pune - Technological University (COEP
TU) saw its inception in 2016, started with the motto – ‘By the artists, for the artists’. It pursued the
burning desire for nurturing a diverse and avant-garde space to represent art and talent. Our major
belief here at Impressions is to provide amateur artists with a platform that is culturally diverse,
artistically creative, and respectfully gracious.
Impressions 2022 is based on one central theme revolving around the evolution of different art forms
and is relevant to present times. Art is an integral part of our lives since ancient times. Art has different
domains like music, dance, acting, painting, and many more with each having its different forms around
the globe.

Most of the classical dance forms originated in temples with aim of worshipping. The roots can be traced
from the Sanskrit text – ‘Natya Shastra’.
A dance that encompasses Bhav, Rag, Ras and Taal is ‘Bharatanatyam’. Possibly, the oldest form of
classical Indian dance follows conception of natya shastra in true spirit and is learned enthusiastically
even today.
Kathak is one of the most charming dance forms of India revolving around themes of Mahabharat and
Ramayana.
Many dance forms evolved in the western continents too. Hip hop developed in the United States in the
early & #39;70s.. The contemporary dance style is considered to also be related to ballet.
Salsa is a combination of several Cuban and American dances.
Indian classical music is monophonic in nature and based around a single melody line which is played
over a fixed drone.
The performance is based melodically on particular ragas and rhythmically on talas. Purandara Dasa ,
known as the father (Pitamaha) of Carnatic music, formulated the basic lessons of Carnatic music resting
on two main elements like Hindustani classical music, raga and Taal. Many other forms of folk music,
natyasangeet, lavani ,Qawwali over the years. Western music was composed by early settlers to the
western US and Canada.
Jazz was developed in southern US focusing on instrumental styles. & #39;Blues& #39; genre captures suffering and
loneliness in the best way. Jazz developed in the United States in the very early part of the 20th century
was mostly for dancing.

Various types of paintings evolved in India like Gond painting, Kalighat paintings. Madhubani in Bihar
portraying culture, Warli painting in Nashik illustrating nature and social rituals of tribe. These paintings
also tell us
the artforms present in that specific eras.

League of Titans, 2022 is in its full swing and we received an exuberating response from the students in all sports, making it a festive season of sports at IMT Ghaziabad.

From witnessing 7 astonishing goals in Football to cheering 160 runs in a 10-over Cricket match, observing a daze of 32 points in Basketball and a flurry of 25 points in Badminton, players from each section are indulged in intense rivalry across their peers and seniors.

The curtains are being brought down on the league stage and the Quarter Finals stage is about to kick off.

XIM Bhubaneswar conducted the Annual Media Conclave: Communiqué '22, hosted by IlluminatiX- The Media and PR cell of XIM, Bhubaneswar. This year the theme was "Brand Warfare-What Sets You Apart."

The event was hosted on 20th November 2022 and was graced with the presence of Mr. Rathnam Patrick Joseph Santiago, Head of Content Production & Programming, Naaptol Online Shopping Pvt. Ltd; Ms. Puja Bedi, Category Head, WOW Skin Science; Ms. Nish*ta Baliarsingh, Co-founder & CEO, Nexus Power; Ms. Varsha Biswal, CEO, Truptee Dairy, and Mr. Sourabh Khandelwal, CEO &Founder, Trag Sales4you; Mr. Anirban Mohanty, the co-founder of DriEv, who shared their valuable insights with the audience.

The session commenced with the speakers lighting the lamp, followed by the felicitation of the speakers and the moderators.

The first speaker of the day, Ms. Nish*ta Baliarsingh, Co-founder & CEO of Nexus Power, spoke about various factors that differentiate her brand from the rest. She mentioned, "You don't have to degrade the other brand continuously if you are a competitor, but you should congratulate them on their success while strategically mentioning your brand."

The day's second speaker was Mr. Rathnam Patrick Joseph Santiago, Head of Content Production & Programming, Naaptol Online Shopping Pvt. Ltd shared his insights on choosing the right target audience and delivering to them. Mr. Rathnam Patrick Joseph Santiago also stated, "As future leaders of the industry, you must sell to the customer on their terms, without any bias to your strategy."

The session was further continued by the third speaker of the day, Mr. Sourabh Khandelwal, CEO &Founder of Trag Sales4you, who enlightened us about the working of marketing and branding, and how, in this era, things are changing. He put forward the point, "People don't buy the product; they buy the stories behind it. You have to create something authentic and streamline the story."

The fourth speaker of the conclave Ms. Varsha Biswal, CEO Truptee Dairy, took the audience through her business model and spoke about bringing revolution through electronic media. She added, "Truptee is trying to bring revolution through electronic media, seminars, and referral groups so as to create a strong image of the product."

The final speaker of the conclave, Ms. Puja Bedi Category Head, WOW Skin Science, threw light on the fact that it is commendable how brands have something new to offer. She emphasized how new-age companies are innovative. She also added, "The use of social media is now an irreplaceable marketing tool. Many companies are trying to figure out their D2C marketing Strategy for the same."

This was followed by a panel discussion which was moderated by Mr. Anirban Mohanty, Co-founder, DriEv. The moderator stated, "Having a call to action for a brand and the need to put it into context is very important."

After the talk by the eminent speakers was the much-awaited question and answer session where the bright minds of XIM, University asked questions relevant to the theme of the day - Brand Warfare.

The summit concluded with an ending note and vote of thanks by Hemant Rohan Narlanka, the coordinator of IlluminatiX, the Media and PR Cell of XIM, Bhubaneswar. He especially thanked the Media Partners for the event.
