India - The Reality
The Reality behind the Various Colours of India,,,
Let's work towards a Better India.....!!!
It's Advantage - Andhra Pradesh !
Andhra Pradesh gets the MAXIMUM allocation in this year's Union Budget, compared to any other State in our country.
While most People of our country including the Institutions, Leaders and the Mainstream Media are busy Celebrating and Promoting 'World Yoga Day', The two scenarios that define India’s Stark Reality are 192 homeless people die in the India's National Capital and on the other side Indian Rupee saw a historical low. The reality bites !
It’s indeed a sobering reality. The contrast between the celebratory “World Yoga Day” and the harsh realities faced by many in India is stark. It’s essential to acknowledge the challenges that persist:
1. Homeless Deaths in Delhi: Tragically, 192 homeless individuals lost their lives due to extreme heatwave conditions in Delhi between June 11 and June 19. These vulnerable citizens faced the brunt of rising temperatures, inadequate shelter, and limited access to clean drinking water. The situation underscores the urgent need for proactive measures, including establishing cooling centres, ensuring adequate shelter capacity, and addressing the root causes of homelessness.
2. Indian Rupee’s Historical Low: The Indian rupee hitting an all-time low against the U.S. dollar (reaching ₹83.65) reflects economic challenges. Factors like strong dollar demand from importers and potential capital outflows contribute to this decline. It’s crucial for policymakers to urgently address currency stability and economic resilience.
With the critical issues like homelessness and currency instability persisting, the most frequently uttered slogan by our leaders, on "Welfare" & "Development", lose their significance. Indeed, these scenarios expose the stark contrast between official slogans and the ground reality. While leaders often tout welfare and development, the lived experiences of homeless individuals and the currency’s decline reveal the gaps that persist.
On the other hand, Media’s coverage of homelessness and currency instability vis-a-vis World Yoga Day, stands as a glaring example.
It’s a pathetic situation at New India, when attention is disproportionately focused on celebratory events like “World Yoga Day” while critical issues remain almost unaddressed.
It’s time for leaders to move beyond rhetoric and take concrete actions that truly benefit citizens. Also, the Media needs to play a critical role in shaping public perception and driving awareness on the issues that are really matters. As citizens, we can seek out responsible reporting and advocate for comprehensive coverage that drives positive change. Above all It’s crucial for citizens to hold those in power accountable and advocate for meaningful change.
It’s a concerning ‘Welfare and development’ that warrants attention from Policymakers, Media and the Public alike. As we reflect on these realities, let’s hope for collective efforts to improve the lives of those affected and stabilize the currency.
Health @ NEW INDIA
