Ian late for this post. But, I still want to share something that camera, or photography has done for me.

As far as I remember a camera was always around in my house. I’ve been click pictures since my school days, with a Kodak Hotshot or a good old USSR made Zenith SLR. But in 2004, I got myself my first semi-pro digital camera, a Sony V-3. That’s when I started seeing the world with a different perspective. The world suddenly to me started to look different, it had more colours, I started to see the same buildings in a different light, suddenly the culture and people started to make sense to me.

I think, when you shut your one eye, and see the world from a view finder - you do find different world around you. I remember while talking to a friend long ago, I have started to see Delhi after I started photogeraphy. Even today, photography inspires me in everything. In helps me focus and think better, and has helped me become a better person. Just like meditation.

Once upon a time, their was a place called The Gym

This is , he is in the gym. In earlier times, in these ancient places, where people used go and pay to workout or you may also call it as exercise. People would go indoors, and run on a machine, or ride a stationary cycle while admiring the beauty of the nature on a TV screen.

Rumpy, is my fitness coach, guide, instructor - and I had so much fun making him do some extra reps during this shoot. I used to tell him to take a break and travel with family... what are you doing during this mandatory holiday Rumpy? Have you lost some muscle and gained some fat yet?

She was one of the cutest people I met in Bhutan, she saw me clicking pictures in the temple and she came close and just smiled and posed, we couldn’t communicate much due to the language barrier, but does it really matter?

A bit before the elections which Trump won, we were in the US for a short break. There was so much of resistance and protests against Trump. This was the funniest one for sure. This guy was charging people for different things you can do to Trump. What I loved about US is the real freedom of speech - how much you can express and how you can express and yet live with respect and peace. A tact that India seems to be loosing it. Do you also find it difficult to express your political opinions in India?
