Ghoomar or ghumar is a traditional folk dance of Rajasthan. It was the Bhil tribe who performed it to worship Goddess Saraswati which was later embraced by other Rajasthani communities. The dance is chiefly performed by veiled women who wear flowing dresses called ghaghara.

Manisha Gupta is an accomplished Art Educator, Social Science, and History Teacher based in Gurgaon. With a diverse skill set, she specializes in various art forms such as acrylic, abstract, modern art, spiritual, and folk paintings. She proudly showcases and sells her handmade paintings through esteemed platforms like the Cosmo Art Gallery in Pune. Her exhibitions grace venues like the Manikarnika Art Gallery, Sagar Arts Stream, and Touchtalent.

Recognized for her talent and dedication, Manisha received a prestigious trophy and certificate in an art competition hosted by DPSG School, Gurugram. Her academic journey includes a B.A. and B.Ed. specializing in English and Social Science from MDU University. She pursued higher education, acquiring an MBA in Marketing and an MA in History from Swami Vivekanand Subharti University.

Her passion for learning reflects in various diplomas she has earned, including Early Childhood Care Education (ECCE) from Adhyapika-VAG, along with diplomas in Arts and Crafts, Paintings, Computer Applications, Web Designing, NTT, and Personal Grooming. Proficient in coaching, lesson planning, and educational technology, she actively participates in workshops by CBSE and DIKSHA trainings, earning recognition as a Microsoft Certified Innovative Educator.
