Sandakphu , a Himalayan trek!

Located in Singalila National Park, a photographer’s paradise, for stunning sunrises, sunsets, and stunning Himalayan views. Panoramic meadows, colorful rhododendrons, snow-capped peaks, and rare wildlife makes it an eventful trekking experience.

On our way elsewhere, we found something really worthwhile.

As we travelled through Nepal, we came across a small settlement in the country’s eastern region. The experience in the village was mostly raw, and we were able to thoroughly immerse ourselves in the native traditions and culture. We were also able to gain a rudimentary understanding of culinary habits during our stay. The neighbouring mountains were converted into terraced farming fields. It was a cultural exchange in which we shared our own stories and experiences while listening to others.

Mandala Top Buddhist Temple is a circle of 108 stupas on top of a mountain in Arunachal Pradesh. The project started in 2018.

This mystical new attraction is located in the Himalayas and is a popular choice for locals and tourists alike. At an elevation of about 10,000 feet above sea level, it offers stunning views of the surrounding area.

This is the first place in India where the mantra “Om Mane Padme Hum” is engraved on 108 pillars.

Buddhist monuments, typically known as stupas, are often built in memory of a deceased loved one or to preserve important Buddhist antiquities. Southeast Asia and East Asia are particularly prone to these structures.

Arunachal Pradesh Buddhist stupas stand out from those found in neighboring Nepal and elsewhere in India. These impressive structures are typically long square constructs with bright red and white paintwork, along a yellow roof. They often boast carvings or prayer wheels within them, found near the towns of West Kameng and Tawang.

The Khasi people of Meghalaya are masters of sustainable infrastructure. They've built living bridges using the aerial roots of Ficus elastica trees!

These bridges take 15-30 years to mature, but they become stronger with age, unlike concrete and steel bridges.

Here's the coolest part: the community guides the roots and provides temporary support structures as the bridge grows. This fosters a continuous connection between the people and their creation. Isn't that amazing?

Each part of this giant nature's playground, from the flowers to the mountains, is important. They all work together to keep Dzukou Valley healthy and happy. It's like a big team, playing together to make the valley the most amazing place ever!

So, if you ever get a chance to visit Dzukou Valley, remember it's not just a place to see, it's a place to feel like part of a happy team of nature!

Despite the recent decline, 'the Borangs' treehouses are an integral part of the culture of Garo people in Meghalaya. Think of them like forts in the sky! Back when they were hunter-gatherers, these treehouse homes kept them safe from hungry animals and even enemies. They were also lookouts to protect their crops from nibbling critters.

Made of bamboo, leaves, and wood, these cool houses perch high in the trees. They're like watchtowers and cozy shelters all in one. People climb up a ladder or even use tree branches to reach their leafy hideout. But sadly, this awesome tradition is fading away, with only a few places still building Borangs.

Pfutsero, the highest altitude town in Nagaland is an amalgamation of scenic beauty, architectures and culture. Glory peak one of the highest peak of Nagaland is about 4kms apart from this township. This popular tourist attraction is famous for its majestic view of the World’s highest mountain, Mount Everest.

Srimanta Sankaradeva, who created Sattra institutions in Majuli, incorporated mask-making into theatrical performances to support varied expressions. Masks are designed for morphological and structural purposes, with loukik masks portraying humans and animals and oloukik masks symbolising supernatural beings. There are three types: Mukh Mukha, Bor Mukha, and Lutukai, each covering a different part of the performer's body. Majuli's mask-making culture has a rich intangible cultural heritage. It is utilised in theatre, home decor, and museums to express globalisation while retaining its legacy.

A Jaswantgarh bunker. Jaswantgarh, named for Rifleman Jaswant Singh Rawat of the 4 Garhwal Rifles, was killed on November 17, 1962, during the Sino-Indian War's renowned Battle of Nuranang.

Jaswantgarh' was an army defensive position built during the 1962 war overlooking the main Serra-Tawang axis road descending into the Tawangchu river valley.

Strategic importance - The Tawang Ridge rises at a point west of the Can Tho massif on the border between India and China, where the Sera Ridge begins, and runs roughly parallel to it in a southwesterly direction. The ridge he is bordered by deep valleys of two rivers. Tawanchu flows towards the southwest and Nayamjanchu flows towards the south. The two rivers meet approximately 40 km southwest of Tawang, where they merge and flow into Bhutan. Tawang Chu Valley separates Tawang Ridge and Sera Ridge. The main road connecting Sela and Tawang (NH 229) enters the Tawang Chu valley near Jaswangarh.
