The announcement of the Best House was made on the 20th of April,24 during a special assembly attended by students, teachers, and staff members. The atmosphere was charged with excitement as the Headmistress announced the Best House of the session 2023-24. The SYED ABDUL MALLIK HOUSE was declared as the the Best House 2023-24.
The winning house was awarded a prestigious trophy and earns bragging rights for the upcoming academic year. Additionally, members of the winning house were congratulated by the teachers and staff for their outstanding contributions.
The recognition of the best house serves as a motivator for all students to strive for excellence in academics, sports, and extracurricular activities. It fosters a sense of belonging and pride within each house, encouraging teamwork and collaboration.

We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to Mr Dhrubajyoti Sharma one of our esteemed guardians for his initiative as the GMC Swacchata Prahari member in informing the authorities about the need to clean the drains near our school. We are also grateful to the GMC officials Ambarish Borah, AC, Mr Hiranya Hazarika , EE, Mr Parasmoni Rajkhowa, JE, Mr Abdul Hasan SI and the Supervisors Mr Abdul Khayum Mr Khagen Kalita and Mr Sadhu Rai, for their prompt action in visiting the area and taking necessary action in cleaning the drain . Their timely action has undoubtedly prevented a potential overflow during the upcoming rainy season, ensuring the safety and well-being of everyone in the area.

North East Public School Celebrates Pre-Idd and Pre-Bohag Bihu Festival.
Today, NEPS buzzed with vibrant energy and cultural fervor as students, teachers, and staff came together to celebrate the Pre-Idd and Pre-Bohag Bihu festival, the spring festival of the Assamese community. The school premises were adorned with colorful decorations, showcasing the rich cultural heritage of Assam.
The festivities commenced with singing of Jikir and traditional Bihu dance performance by students, captivating the audience with their graceful movements and rhythmic beats. The rhythmic sound of the dhol resonated throughout the campus, creating an atmosphere of joy and merriment.
Students and teachers dressed in traditional Assamese attire added to the festive ambiance, with vibrant colors and intricate designs adorning the fabrics. Traditional Assamese delicacies such as pitha, laru etc were served, allowing everyone to indulge in the flavors of Assamese cuisine.
As the festivities drew to a close, the echoes of laughter and the spirit of brotherhood lingered in the air, leaving everyone with cherished memories of a joyous celebration of Pre-Idd and Pre-Bohag Bihu festival at NEPS

Joyful Participation of the Nursery kids on their first day at school.
On the first day at school, the young pupils engaged in a variety of playful activities. Notably, they were prompted to introduce themselves using a microphone, a task they executed with remarkable poise and enthusiasm. Evidently, the children displayed immense joy in expressing themselves and even showcased their singing talents through the microphone. This initial interaction not only fostered confidence but also laid the foundation for a positive and engaging learning environment.
1st April, 2024 marked the commencement of a new academic journey for our young beginners at North East Public School, Kahilipara. As they embarked on their first day, a mix of excitement and apprehension filled the air, both among the students and their parents.
The day began with a flurry of activities as the students walked into the school compound. Excited chatter filled the air as students, adorned in their crisp uniforms, clutched onto their parents' hands tightly. Teachers, adorned with warm smiles, welcomed each child individually, easing their nerves and setting a positive tone for the day ahead.
