Doodling activity has amazing cognitive benefits. Children were engaged in doodling with cryons today. They also expressed what they had doodled which was then documented by the teacher on their sheet.

Children enjoyed sorting of beads activity by colour or size involved great focus and concentration.

Children learnt about the Wet and Dry concept through a beautiful story which helped them understand that things get wet in water and sun helps in making wet things dry.

Children were very happy to meet the bear family today during understanding my world time. They learnt about eight different species of bear which they were indeed excited and curious to know more about.

Paper crumpling with fingers is a part of pre writing skill as it involves the same fingers that are used for the pincer grip in writing. Children develop their fine motor skills as they crumpled papers to stick and make a star.

Today children learnt about the zebra family followed by zebra mask making, a reinforcement activity which helped children understand the concept of zebra family better.

Stackers are so much fun ! Stacking toys help infants and toddlers develop cognitive skills, hand eye coordination, fine gross motor skills. They also encourage children to solve problem ,learn about shapes and sizes.

🐯🐯🐯🌳At Podar Jumbo Kids we celebrated International Tiger’s Day as Day “Don't strip the stripes , Save the tigers our National Animal” with activities that created awareness and responsibility. Children enjoyed learning about why we need to protect our national animal and conserve its natural habitat🌳.🐯🐯🐯

World Nature Conservation Day will be celebrated as"Think today, do everyday"on 28th July, 2023 with children at Podar Jumbo kids Madhav nagar.

At Podar Jumbo Kids( Madhav nagar,gwalior) children enjoyed playing with shape sorters. This helped them to identify shapes and make their foundation stronger in the mathematics area of learning and development in our EYFS curriculum.

At Podar jumbo kids, the children choose their greeting ritual. This activity gives the child a sense of belonging and respect as well as develops the pre frontal lobe of the brain which is responsible for decision making.

Children engaged in fun songs and rhymes in a group thereby developing their language and social skills .

Children using the Number Magic tiles learnt to identify the Number 7 and 8 and understood its value through hands on learning . The Number Magic Program enables children to involve all their senses ,making learning more meaningful.

Every morning children start the day with N.E.W.S. time which enables children to discuss and have meaningful conversations with the teacher and peers.......N.E.W.S. stands for :
●N- National Anthem -Children sing the National Anthem unanimously.
●E- Everything to do with day, date, month and year- Children using calender identified today's date,day and year.
●W- Weather for the day- Children spoke about the weather of the day and then marked it on the weather chart too.
●S-Special Leader for the day- The special leader supports the teacher in various activities all round the day.

Role play builds confidence, language ,and creativity, in children .Children engrossed kitchen play and serving various dishes as they build their personal, social and emotional skills, a key area of development of EYFS.

During Active exploration time,children did a matching and pairing activity using number magic tiles and corresponding number cards, contributing to development of primary skills in children.
