(By the way, we looooooooove this! New people discovering your content when they’re already searching for it? And this happens every day, on autopilot? 🙋🏻‍♀️🙋🏻‍♀️🙋🏻‍♀️ Ummm, yes please!) ⁠⁠
We need to build trust to warm up your leads before they are ready to buy.⁠⁠

Having an inspiring, valuable and readable caption is key to encouraging your followers to engage and take action from your posts.

⬇️ Save these tips to help you write your next caption ⬇️

1️⃣ Start with a hook. Your first line needs to stop people from scrolling on by. A strong hook will grab attention. Think about your audience’s interests and pain points, then speak to those with a powerful hook that leaves them wanting to know more.

2️⃣ Your followers are busy. They’re not going to read a long ass caption for no reason. So think about ways you can add real value. If you can encourage post saves, all the better, as these signal to the algorithm your content is interesting.

3️⃣ Be bold and original. Don’t just recycle content and ideas from your competitors. Think about ways you can stand out and let your personality and expertise shine through. Is there a misconception you can put right? Is there something that your competitors do that you don’t agree with? Let us know! We want to hear what YOU think!

4️⃣ A good caption flows nicely so it’s easy to read. So break up those walls of text OK? Emojis are great to format your text (just like I’ve done with this list)

5️⃣ Finish with a CTA, for example, ask people to comment, share, save etc. If you can ask a question and have others share their viewpoint, even better.
