Stem Borer Infestation: What Farmers Need to Know

During the time of flowering the plant undergoes important phenomenon known as Fertilization and this usually happens in morning hours, so during this time the flowers of the paddy is open and pollen grains are exposed. If during this time farmer does high pressure of spray of medicines then the pollen grains would be destroyed and that will result in blackening of the grain.

This mistake is usually unnoticed and unintentionally farmers does this mistake, so please keep these things in mind.
फूल आने के समय पौधा निषेचन के रूप में जानी जाने वाली महत्वपूर्ण घटना से गुजरता है और यह आमतौर पर सुबह के समय होता है, इसलिए इस दौरान धान के फूल खुले होते हैं और परागकण सामने आते हैं। यदि इस दौरान किसान दवाओं का तेज दबाव से छिड़काव करता है तो परागकण नष्ट हो जाते हैं और अनाज काला पड़ जाता है।

आमतौर पर इस गलती पर ध्यान नहीं जाता और किसान अनजाने में यह गलती कर बैठते हैं, इसलिए कृपया इन बातों का ध्यान रखें।

Tips for High yielding:
1. Nursery should be healthy with 2-3 tillers/ plant 2-3 plants per hill.
2. Nursery age should be between 21-25 days for transplanting, aged nursery reduce tillering resulting yield losses.
3. Use spacing 15 cm x 20 cm or 33 plant per sqm/ 133,333/- plants per acre.
4. During transplanting roots should not be much deeper, it results low tillering.
5. Use recommended dose of fertilizers / chemical to have healthy crop.
6. Disease and insects should be monitored properly and use effective chemicals available in market by taking technical guidance of Agriculture experts.
7. Keep bunds free from weeds.
8. Urea should be use at proper stage;
A) Early maturity 110-120 days: First urea 50 kg per acre after 14 days & second after 28 days of transplanting.
B. Medium Early 120-130 days; First urea 50 kg per acre after 18 days & second after 36 days of transplanting.
C. Lates duration more than 130 days; First urea 50 kg per acre after 21 days & second after 42 days of transplanting.
Note: Use chemicals as per need. Maintain proper irrigation and keep free from weeds.
उच्च उपज के लिए युक्तियाँ:
1. नर्सरी 2-3 टिलर्स के साथ स्वस्थ होनी चाहिए / 2-3 पौधे लगाएं।
2. रोपाई के लिए नर्सरी की आयु 21-25 दिनों के बीच होनी चाहिए, वृद्ध नर्सरी टिलरिंग को कम करती है जिसके परिणामस्वरूप उपज में कमी आती है।
3. 15 सेमी x 20 सेमी या 33 पौधे प्रति वर्गमीटर/ 1,33,333 पौधे प्रति एकड़ का उपयोग करें।

 Handling the Travel Expenses & Imprest account of Employees
 Should have experience in accounts payable transactions
 Knowledge & experience of GST, TDS & TCS
 Preparation and maintain of stock (inventory) details Updating on regular basis
 Familiarity with financial accounting statements.
 Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
 Knowledge of e-way bills.
 Physical verification of Stocks, stock reconciliation
 Preparing Monthly Management Reports
 Maintenance customer master agreements & vendor agreements.
 Knowledge of Customers Discounts calculations.
 Coordination and compliance of Internal & Statutory Audits
 Strengthening of Internal controls and compliance of management policies

Technical skills:
 Experience in Tally ERP
 Experience in MS Office (Excel, Word, Power point)
