Here are the Indian cities that will face the brunt of climate change as they fear rising sea levels. While these are initial projections at the current rate, if the trends continue by the end of the century these coastal cities will go under as much as three feet of water.

While the sea levels rise, the continuous melting of glaciers in the Himalayas is likely to affect over a billion people, who are directly or indirectly dependent on these resources. An earlier report by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Indore on the glacial hydrology of rivers in the Himalayan Karakoram region had shown that glaciers and snowmelt are important components of the Himalayan Karakoram rivers with greater importance for the Indus than the Ganga and Brahmaputra basins. The team projects that the total river runoff, glacier melt, and seasonality of flow are set to increase until the 2050s, and then decrease.

stated that each of the PSA plants inaugurated on Monday would produce 1000 litres of oxygen per minute (LPM) and around 200 D-type oxygen cylinders could be refilled daily at each PSA plant.

He further stated that another 5,000 LPM PSA oxygen plant under
PM CARES Fund
would be installed at Chandel district very soon. Highlighting the Covid situation in the state, the CM urged people to overcome vaccine hesitancy and asked all eligible persons to get vaccinated as soon as possible to protect themselves from the disease.

Lionel Messi arrived at Barcelona airport on Tuesday, set to board a flight to the French capital as Paris Saint-Germain look to complete the signing of the Argentinian superstar. The 34-year-old was accompanied by his wife and three children as he entered El Prat airport just before 1:30 pm (1130 GMT). His father Jorge, who is also his representative, arrived a short while earlier. PSG have spent the last few days trying to finalise an agreement to sign Messi following his departure from Barcelona, the club he has represented for the entirety of his 17-year professional career so far.

The French side's supporters began gathering on Monday outside the club's Parc des Princes home and at Le Bourget airport to the north of the city hoping to catch a glimpse of Messi.
Meanwhile the front page headline in French sports daily L'Equipe on Tuesday hinted at the mood in Paris. "Growing restless", it said, while inside it spoke of "the longest hours" as fans waited an announcement.

Delhi runs low on oxygen, high on cases for fifth day

At least 20 patients died due to alleged low oxygen pressure at a private hospital in Delhi

For the fifth day in a row, Delhi hospitals and nursing homes posted SOS messages on the social media and wrote to the government, warning their oxygen supplies were running precariously low.

One of the biggest Delhi government-run hospital, Guru Teg Bahadur, had to reduce the number of beds from over 900 to 700 on Saturday due to the high oxygen requirement.
