As the Emerald Heights Alumni Sports Meet 2024 (EHASM2024) entered its penultimate day, the excitement reached a fever pitch as alumni athletes geared up for the final rounds of competition.

As the day progressed, the finalists emerged in each sport, setting the stage for an epic conclusion to EHASM2024.

Meanwhile, the badminton league concluded today, witnessing thrilling matches and crowning champions across different categories.

The second day of the Emerald Heights Alumni Sports Meet 2024 (EHASM2024) saw the momentum building as alumni continued to showcase their athletic prowess and sportsmanship in badminton, cricket and football.

The long-awaited Emerald Heights Alumni Sports Meet 2024 (EHASM2024) commenced with great fervour and excitement today at The Emerald Heights International School. All participants took part in the march past during the opening ceremony. The Honourable President Sir addressed the alumni and declared the tournament open.

On the inaugural day, alumni ranging from the Class of 1992 to the recent graduates of 2024 demonstrated unwavering enthusiasm and competitive spirit in cricket, football, and badminton tournaments. The matches were not just about winning; they also served as a platform for alumni to reconnect, reminisce, and forge lasting bonds through their shared love for sports. It is the beginning of a five-day event filled with sportsmanship, camaraderie, and nostalgia.

Emeralites participated the Round Square Zoom Postcard event organised by SAI International Residential School, India on 10 April 2024 on the theme, "The World is One Family - Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam".

Attended by students from various schools across the globe, the event aimed to explore the implications of the theme in the context of education, global interconnectedness, and cultural harmony.

Following the icebreaker, schools presented their perspectives on the theme through captivating presentations. Each presentation offered unique insights into how the concept of "Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam" is interpreted and practiced in different educational settings.

Participants actively engaged in a structured format of question-answer sessions, delving into critical issues such as the impact of global interconnectedness on education and the economy. Furthermore, the discussions explored strategies for schools to foster cultural harmony amidst diversity.

The student delegates represented our school were Prish*ta Gupta, Ansh Naidu, Garv Sharma, Manjari Joshi, Prithiya Saboo and Riddhi Darira of Class-IX. The teacher incharge for the collaborative project was Ms. Kirti Kotia.

We are very proud to share that Emeralite Arohi Bansal of Class-Vl bagged "BEST PERFORMER" award at the National Level Abacus Competition held at Hyderabad on 26 November 2023. She competed with more than 5,000 students from all across the country.

The National Cadet Corps (NCC) Air Wing Cadets of The Emerald Heights International School underwent a flying training in Virus SW-80, a Microlight aircraft at Devi Ahilyabai International Airport, Indore, M.P. on 23rd April 2024. Emerald Heights four second year NCC cadets were introduced to simulator training under the guidance of Commanding Officer (CO) Group Captain Parvinder Singh 01 MP Air Squadron NCC Indore, before the actual flying so that they know the basics of the aircraft and can handle the controls. Theses cadets were given first-hand experience on flying the Microlight Aircraft as a co-pilot with CO as the main pilot. The training was coordinated by our Associate NCC Officer (ANO) Third Officer (T/O) Khushal Singh Chauhan.

The four cadets who underwent the flying training were –

We are very proud to share that Emerald Heights won First Runner-up Trophy with 22 medals in Interschool Swimming Championship 2024, organised and hosted by The Shishukunj International School, Jhalaria Campus, Indore on 20 April 2024. The medals won by our school were -

Under-14 Category-
✨ Priyamvad Singh Rathore: Won Individual Championship

We are very proud to share that our little Chess players won awards in Padma Shri Late Abhay Chhajlaniji Memorial 2nd UICC Indore International Open FIDE Rating Rapid Chess Tournament 2024 held at Abhay Prashal, Indore from 13th to 14th April 2024. The winners were -

♟️ Anwesha Chhajlani of Class-V: First Position in U-9 Age Group and Cash Prize of ₹2500.
♟️ Shaurya Jain of Class-VIII: Fourth Position in U-13 Age Group and Cash Prize of ₹1200.
