JKP Mourns Heroic Loss; DGP RR Swain Vows Stronger Stand Against Terrorism After Inspector's Tragic Sacrifice

Jammu, December 07: The Director General of Police, J&K Shri R.R. Swain has condoled the heroic loss of Inspector Masroor Ahmad who succumbed to injuries at (AIIMS) New Delhi today.

In his message, the DGP has said, “as the Director General of Police, it is with profound sorrow that I extend my heartfelt condolences on the tragic loss of Police Inspector Masroor Ahmad Wani.”

Today, we mourn the loss of Police Inspector Masroor Ahmad Wani, a courageous officer who valiantly served amidst the looming threat of terrorism. JKNPP holds protest outside ECI in Delhi

Assembly elections denied in J&K at the behest of BJP: Harsh Dev

New Delhi: Strongly condemning the denial of democratically elected govt to J&K and dilly dally over Assembly Elections in the erstwhile state for the last five years, a strong contingent of JKNPP activists led by Mr Harsh Dev Singh, former minister and state president Panthers Party held a massive protest demonstration outside Nirvachan Sadan, the office of election commission of India in New Delhi.The protestors raised slogans of “Jamhooriyat ke katil hai hai”, “Murderers of democracy in J&K hai hai”, “BJP sarkar hai hai”, “Election commission J&K mein chunav karvao, chunav karvao” etc.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr harsh Dev Singh said that while the ECI had started preparations for MP elections with meetings of J&K officers having also been convened in the past over the subject, it had preferred to maintain a criminal silence over the Assembly Elections which were due in the incarcerated UT for the last five years. He said that Assembly Elections were being deliberately avoided in J&K in view of BJP having lost its ground due to simmering discontent amongst the local masses against its anti people policies. The BJP therefore did not want elections and was using constitutional bodies to subserve its political interests, said Singh.

Emphasising the need for the early elections to J&K Legislative Assembly in J&K, Mr. Singh said that any delay in this regard would not only amount to subversion of democracy but also violate the orders of the Supreme Court. “The people could not be deprived of their democratic rights in the state only for the political inexpediencies of the ruling party at the centre by taking to frivolous excuses”, said Mr. Singh. He said that a full time elected govt was a must to deal with the armed insurgency in the erstwhile state besides coping with the multiple issues confronting the UT. The militancy which had erupted in early 90s in J&K had gradually subsided after the formation of an elected govt in the State in 1996. It had almost died down during successive popular govts but unfortunately got revived during the centre’s proxy rule. Any delay therefore in handing over power to the sons of soil through free and fair elections could prove counterproductive and further complicate the already volatile situation in the UT said Harsh.

Pointing towards the growing tensions in various parts of the UT and the failure of administration to come up to the peoples’ expectations, Mr. Singh said that bureaucratic rule was no answer to the prevalent crisis. The LG administration had lost connect with the masses. The unemployed, semi-employed and contractuals were on the roads with none to even take note of their sufferings and grievances. The people inhabiting the rural areas were suffering badly for basic amenities with no access whatsoever to the corridors of power. With hardly any forum to ventilate their grievances, the people were suffering badly in the absence of a popular govt thereby resulting in growing alienation amongst the masses.

Prominent among those who spoke on the occasion included GP Singh, Raj Kapoor, Sudesh Dogra, Vidhi Lal, Praveen Sharma and Tulsi Prasad besides others.

Today it has been 53 years since Sadhguru Shri Madhuparamhans Ji Maharaj of Sahib Bandgi gave initiation in the name of Satya. On this occasion, a special satsang and a huge bhandara was organized in Ranjadi today. Sahib ji said that there was 100 percent truth in Satyayug. There was 90 percent truth in Treta. There was 80 percent truth in Dwapar. 25 percent truth is left in Kalyug. Even small children are lying. There is a lot of sin in Kaliyuga. There is a lot of deceit and fraud at every step. Brother loved brother so much. Now if anyone has an enemy then there is no bigger enemy than a brother. Man has made dishonesty and deceit a part of life. That's why sorrow is sorrow. We used to eat bread at one time and even then we were happy. Today even the one who has crores of rupees is scared.
Sahib is saying one more thing that there is no era like Kalyug. Because with just a little worship here the soul will be able to transcend. When Sahib came to earth, there was a war with Niranjan. If there is anyone strong after Satya Purush then it is Niranjan. Then at number two is Adi Shakti. Then Vishnu ji is at number three. When Niranjan did penance, he asked for souls from Sahib. Adi Shakti is called the mother of the world because she was the one who brought the souls.
When Niranjan suffered, Kabir Sahib came into the world. Sahib comes in every era to liberate living beings. There is a lot of suffering in this body. In this body, Niranjan gave his temper and made you forget that you are a soul. Everyone has been entangled in the business of stomach. The world has a forgetfulness. There is belief in formless Vedas. This is what all religions believe in. But he has spoken without any hesitation for God. This entire world worships time. Everyone does devotion. Don't know. One used to worship Lord Shiva. I asked whether Brahma ji is elder. Vishnu ji is also there. Why are you doing this only for Lord Shiva? Why not Lord Vishnu? Said that everyone in the house worships Lord Shiva. That means everyone does devotion after seeing. The whole world is worshiping that formless being. In the Vedas God has been called formless. Right now scientists are saying one thing that we have learned the secret of origin and destruction. This is a big thing. They are saying about the black hole that whoever goes there cannot come back. He is pulling everyone towards himself. Swallowing everyone. This is what Sahib is saying. Niranjan is eating everyone. But souls are not destroyed. Cannot destroy the soul. That's why it is rotating in bodies.
Scientists are saying that the Earth is still away from its grip. But after many years it will swallow the entire earth along with humans.

: Prominent Socio,Political Activist And Sr Trade Union Leader Mohammad Altaf Dar demands better maintenance of manhole covers in the srinagar city roads including Including damaged Drainage cover near Javaid Automobiles at Sadarbal.The dangers posed to the public by broken or loose manhole covers and delays in getting them fixed.The trouble is that there is a lack of proper maintenance and the lack of a proper repair team to deal with these covers which are on public roads and footpaths. Some of the holes do pose a significant threat to public safety. Mohammad Altaf Dar also said people of srinagar and it's extended areas are facing difficulties, as the civic body is not taking care of basic services in their localities.
He demanded,"Dust Bins at suitable places, construction and repair of lanes drains, civil work inducing counting number residential houses and streets, maintenance of street lights and repair of main holes."

Sadhguru Shri Madhuparamhans Ji Maharaj of Sahib Bandgi, while delighting the Sangat with the nectar of his sermons during the satsang in Satwari, Jammu today, said that the saints have always been condemned. The slanderer can go at any cost. It has been happening, it will keep happening. Great men dealt a severe blow to evil practices. The section whose interests were harmed protested. Don't worry about criticism. In devotion one has to endure all this. There is condemnation that their business comes to a halt. There can be no devotion as long as there is connection with the caste of the world. For true devotion one has to rise above these things.

Sahib ji said that Guru is the main person in the stream of sainthood. In the rest of devotion the Guru is only a silent spectator. Now the problem was that everyone added the word saint to their gurus. They don't even know. I don't know what a Sadguru is, what a saint is. He became a sage, sage, ta***ic and yogi. He is also being called a saint. Sahib is saying that even Gorakhnath could not differentiate between the body. This body is immeasurable. Then what else to talk about? Some Sahib is saying from his earnings that even Gorakhnath could not differentiate between body types. This body is immeasurable. Then what else to talk about? No one can attain that power by his own earnings. Saints do not have their own earnings. Sahib is saying that there are many people who meditate, but there is only one who serves the Guru.
Like the person opposing you only blames you. Quality speaks little. In this way, that section has not mentioned even a single quality of Kabir Sahib. So that people don't go that way. This has been happening.
When Pandavas performed Yagya, they provided food to thousands of sages and yogis. But the bell for the completion of the Yagya did not ring. When Vasudev Krishna meditated, he said that not a single saint had eaten food in this yagya. Everyone was shocked. Provided food to so many sages. Then he said that Supacha Sudarshan has not been invited. feed him. He was a disciple of Kabir Sahib. When he had food, the yagya bell rang and the Pandavas' yagya was completed.
Paltu Sahib is also saying who should be worshipped. In this word he took all the trinity, 33 crore gods. Then said that the saint is the greatest. His worship alone gives liberation. Kaal Niranjan who is going to swallow everyone is afraid only of the saint.
The rules we are telling you to follow strictly. Speaking the truth, not eating meat, not drinking alcohol, not stealing, living a virtuous life, eating rightful earnings, not gambling, worshiping a man of truth. This devotion to the Satya Purusha will be achieved through devotion to Saint Sadguru. Saints are his mirror. These rules are going to make you a saint. They have no place in the true devotion of the saints.
Sahib ji said that when the soul is realized then this world becomes void. The world is becoming meaningless due to ignorance. Saying this will baffle the minds of great intellectuals. Like the dream state is a foolish state. In dreams, man does such things, which he cannot do at any cost in waking life. The reason for that foolish state is that everything appears to be true. In this way, when the soul gets mixed with the five physical elements and the body, the world appears true. Actually this is not true, it is like a night dream.

Ritika demands exemplary punishment to murderer of Raghav Jamwal

Chief Spokesperson BJP Mahila Morcha J&KUT Ritika Trehan today strongly condemned kidnap and murder of Raghav Jamwal alias Raghu, resident of Nardani Raipur Bantalab, aged around 19. In a handout issued here, Ritika demanded exemplary punishment for those accused in murder. She further termed the incident as shocking and said that the punishments must be harsh for all culprits. She expressed deep sorrow over the brutal incident that has devastated the family and shocked the entire state. She demanded exemplary punishment for the culprits involved in the gory act, she said. She also said that such a gruesome incident has put a question mark on the state's collective societal values. It is high time for people to introspect and come together to demand a stern punishment for those who have committed this 'devilish act', she added.Ritika also praised the J&K police for swift action in the case. There is no room for such a barbaric act in our society and as such she urged upon the concerned authorities to investigate thoroughly and book the culprit/s under relevant sections of law and set the record straight that justice is supreme,” she said.The evil act committed against 19 years old is beyond one’s imagination in a society. Perpetrators of such crime deserve nothing but as stringent as capital punishment. And such evil act should be condemned by all citizens as the same is not only inhuman but also a grave threat to humans in days to come,” Ritika said on Friday. She also urged the law enforcing agency to investigate the matter at the earliest and requested that the matter be taken up in the fast track court and justice be delivered to the family members of the child.

*Zero tolerance policy towards drugs menace & Desi liquor need of hour: Kesri*

: Shiv Sena Hindustan J&K President Pt Rajesh Kesri today convened meeting in Arnia in which Arnia Block Head, RS Pura Block Head and the office bearers of different villages were present in the meeting. The meeting held threadbare discussions on increasing drug abuse in these areas. They laid stress on coordination among all the concerned agencies in Jammu and Kashmir to control the trafficking, production and distribution of drugs.

Speaking on the occasion, Kesri highlighted the significance of preventive education, awareness generation, counseling, treatment and rehabilitation of affected persons and greater involvement of society in eradicating the menace. The prevailing situation vis-à-vis drug menace has already received the priority attention of the Government of Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir and Lieutenant Governor has already passed instructions to all the concerned agencies to leave no stone unturned to plug the smuggling routes and generate awareness by involving all the educational institutions.

Kesri made appeal to the society from various platforms to extend all possible assistance to the Government in this regard as it is the collective responsibility of the society to rehabilitate youngsters who have fallen prey to the drug addiction conspiracy hatched by neighbouring country. He appreciated Jammu and Kashmir Police and Anti-Narcotics Task Force for adopting “Zero Tolerance Policy” towards the menace and because of collective efforts of all the concerned agencies large number of drugs have been seized as indicative of the effectiveness of the policy.

Kesri said that young generation have become addicted to drugs in these areas and some people are selling drugs without license due to which our young generation is getting spoiled because of these hidden drugs. It does not cause bad breath nor does it stumble and the parents think that because their child is not drinking alcohol, hence no one would be intoxicated, added Kesri. By the time the parents come to know about it, it is too late and on the other hand. Kesri also expressed concern over production of desi liquor in these areas which is produced by the people in the desi Bhatti.

He said Police is also doing its work, but it is a matter of big concern that now drug peddlers have also included women in this illegal trade, which is very dangerous for the society besides Police also have to face a lot of problems to catch them. However the government and the police are catching them and putting them in jails but after coming out, they again start doing the same work again because they do not have any other work. He demanded enhancing funds for identification, motivation, counseling, de-addiction, after care and rehabilitation of the drug users.

Kesri requested Govt to teach these drug dealers some work in the jails so that they can come out and earn their livelihood. On the other hand, the parents and elders in family should also pay attention to the daily activities of their children so that the children also do not fear their parents to share their feelings.
