ശിശിര സെബാസ്റ്റ്യന് വുമൺസ് എക്സലൻസ് അവാർഡ് സമ്മാനിച്ചു. കൽപ്പറ്റ :അന്താരാഷ്ട്ര വനിത ദിനാഘോഷത്തോടനുബന്ധിച്ച് നടത്തുന്ന മിസ്റ്റി ലൈറ്റ്സ് ഇന്ത്യൻ ഇൻഫ്ലുവൻസേഴ്സ് മീറ്റിന്റെ ഭാഗമായി മീഡിയവിംഗ്സ് നൽകുന്ന ഈ വർഷത്തെ വുമൺസ് എക്സലൻസ് അവാർഡ് പ്രശസ്ത സിനിമാതാരം ശിശിര സെബാസ്റ്റ്യന് സമ്മാനിച്ചു. നൊണ എന്ന സിനിമയിലെ നായികയായി രംഗപ്രവേശം ചെയ്ത് നിരവധി സിനിമകളിൽ വേഷമിടുന്ന ബത്തേരി സ്വദേശിനിയായ ശിശിര സെബാസ്റ്റ്യന് കാരാപ്പുഴ അഡ്വഞ്ചർ പാർക്കിൽ നടന്ന ചടങ്ങിൽ ജില്ലാ പഞ്ചായത്ത് ക്ഷേമകാര്യ സ്റ്റാൻഡിങ് കമ്മിറ്റി ചെയർമാൻ ജുനൈദ് കൈപ്പാണി പുരസ്കാരം സമ്മാനിച്ചു. മാധ്യമപ്രവർത്തകരുടെ കൂട്ടായ്മയായ മീഡിയവിങ്സ് ഡിജിറ്റൽ സൊല്യൂഷൻസ് ഓൺലൈൻ മാധ്യമപ്രവർത്തകരുടെ കൂട്ടായ്മയായ ഒമാക്കും ചേർന്ന് സംഘടിപ്പിച്ച പരിപാടിയിലാണ് പുരസ്കാര സമർപ്പണം നടന്നത്.ഒമാക് വയനാട് ജില്ല പ്രസിഡണ്ട് സി. വി. ഷിബു അധ്യക്ഷനായിരുന്നു. സെക്രട്ടറി അൻവർ സാദിഖ്, കണിയാമ്പറ്റ ഗ്രാമപഞ്ചായത്ത് മെമ്പർ ലത്തീഫ് മേമാടൻ ,വുമൺ ചേംബർ ഓഫ് കൊമേഴ്സ് പ്രതിനിധി പാർവതി വിഷ്ണുദാസ്, മിസ്റ്റി ലൈറ്റ്സ് പ്രോഗ്രാം കോഡിനേറ്റർമാരായ സി.ഡി സുനീഷ്, ഇ. ജെ. ജോഫർ ,കാരാപ്പുഴ അഡ്വഞ്ചർ പാർക്ക് ഡയറക്ടർ തോമസ് പ്ലാക്കൽ, ധന്യ ഇന്ദു ,ഡാമിൻ ജോസഫ് തുടങ്ങിയവർ സംസാരിച്ചു. ഓൺലൈൻ മാധ്യമ പ്രവർത്തകർക്കുള്ള ഐഡൻ്റിറ്റി കാർഡ് വിതരണവും ഇതോടനുബന്ധിച്ച് കാരാപ്പുഴയിൽ നടന്നു.

ലോക വനിതാ ദിനത്തോടനുബന്ധിച്ച് മീഡിയ വിംഗ്സും ഓൺലൈൻ മീഡിയ റിപ്പോർട്ടേഴ്സ് അസോസിയേഷനും (ഒമാക്) ചേർന്ന് നടത്തുന്ന വുമൺസ് ഇൻഫ്ളുവൻസേഴ്സ് മീറ്റ് ഇന്ന് മേപ്പാടി 900 കണ്ടിയിലും നാളെ കാരാപ്പുഴയിലുമായി നടക്കും. Misty Lights Season 4 .

Faith Sidlow -
California USA
Award-winning broadcast journalist and an associate professor of broadcast/multimedia journalism. Faith worked as a reporter, anchor and producer for the Fresno NBC affiliate for 28 years before transitioning to academia.

Her report, “Extreme Faith,” won an Emmy for editing. Faith is an inductee into the Silver Circle of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences for making a significant contribution to Northern California television for more than 25 years.

Her early broadcast career included radio reporter and board operator at KPBS-FM; San Diego reporter for KNX News Radio, Los Angeles; and research intern for CBS Television News in London.

Faith oversees the broadcast multiplatform journalism option at Fresno State including the student-produced TV newscast. She is the faculty adviser for Fresno State RTDNA and 90.7 KFSR. Faith's students have won regional and national awards from the Associated Press Television and Radio Association (APTRA), Society of Professional Journalists (SPJ), the Broadcast Education Association (BEA), International Broadcast System and the CSU Media Arts Festival.

Faith’s professional and academic awards include the Provost's Award for Promising New Faculty, Broadcast Education Association, RTNA Golden Mike, Associated Press Mark Twain, RTDNA Edward R. Murrow, Best of the West, three Emmy nominations, the St. Francis Award, and the California Bar Association’s Silver Medallion.
