Sciatic pain is a familiar sensation for many โ up to 40% of people experience it at some time in their life, and frequency increases with age. It differs from other types of back pain in that it often feels like burning, tingling or numbness, low in the back and down the backs of the legs. It might feel like a shooting pain from deep in the buttocks downward. Some patients describe a dull, constant ache rather than a sharp, shooting pain.
You can take several measures to reduce and prevent sciatic nerve pain. Here are some strategies for sciatic pain relief, most of which you can do at home.

When there is a reduction in the arch height of a foot, or if the entire sole of the foot touches the floor when standing, this can lead to injury and misalignment throughout your body.
Flattening of the feet can occur naturally. Usually this condition is caused by the weakening of the muscles that support the arch of the foot over time.
A flat foot posture creates extra pressure on surrounding supportive structures and so overuse injuries and degeneration may occur.
In most people, the arches in the feet develop throughout childhood. Flat feet are normal in infants and toddlers because their bones, muscles and ligaments have not yet developed.
We have solutions to reduce any discomfort associated with flat feet, so you can perform at your best, and reduce daily aches and pains.
A person with flat feet may be at risk of postural misalignment caused by the impact of a weak foot posture.

When you are looking at someone from the side, a โnormalโ posture is one where the ear is positioned directly over the shoulder. When the head moves forward, in what is described as a forward head posture (FHP), many changes in the head and neck occur.
1. For every inch the head moves forward out of the โnormalโ posture, the weight of the head increases pressure on the cervical spine by 10 pounds. A normal head weighs 10-12 pounds; therefore, for every inch the head is placed in a forward position can potentially double or triple the weight of the head and pressure on the spine.
2. Forward head positioning will also promote muscular imbalances which leads to tension headaches and neck pain.The muscles in the neck, trunk and upper back must continually work to maintain this dysfunctional posture, creating pain in the neck and produce headaches.
3. Forward head positioning also causes and increased โhumpโ or thoracic kyphosis. FHP produces a decrease in neck motion, decreased overall rotation or turning, shoulder mobility, and a decreased ability to reach things at a level above the shoulder. All of these changes produce an increase stress and strain on the neck, upper back, and shoulders
Under the supervision of your PT, stretches and exercises have been shown to be effective treatments for this posture as well as a reduction in pain and headaches.

The anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) is important for maintaining stability of the knee joint, particularly in activities involving weaving, pivoting or kicking. The knee becomes unstable with a ruptured ACL and the joint may become more damaged over time. ACL reconstruction is the surgical treatment of choice to restore stability at the knee joint.
Physical therapy re-teaches patients how to move. It also strengthens areas of weakness and helps to correct any muscular imbalances that can cause ACL injuries. By re-learning correct form and movement, physical therapy patients reduce their risk of re-injury and can get back in the game for good.

Knee pain is quite common and can be debilitating. A lot of things can cause pain in your knee(s), including medical conditions, trauma, and injuries from putting too much pressure on the joint.
The key to proper treatment is finding out what causes your knee pain. Then your healthcare provider can form the right treatment plan for you.
Prevention :
You can do several things to prevent knee injuries or stop pain from getting worse. These include:
