Sainik School Kunjpura is one of the first five schools established by the Sainik Schools Society, New Delhi in 1961.
This school was founded by (late) Shri V.K. Krishna Menon, the then Defence Minister of India, on 24th July, 1961.

Sainik school Kunjpura celebrated the success of Chandrayaan III. Cadets from classes VI - XII were asked to write short stories on Moon. They were also asked to tell any story about Chandamama which their parents or grand parents might have shared with them. Cadets were encouraged to write the story in Hindi or English.
Cadets of each class were divided in four houses and they participated in Inter house Quiz. They participated enthusiastically in the quiz.
In conclusion, Story writing helps in
evolving diverse thinking patterns and improving their imagination. Story telling helps them in improving their oratory skills and also ensures their active participation. INTER HOUSE QUIZ ON SPACE helped them to enrich their knowledge about space as well as Indian space program and journey of ISRO in achieving different mile stones. This will be quite helpful in developing scientific aptitude among students. It will also be helpful in igniting a passion for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) among them. The event celebrated India's remarkable journey into the lunar surface and the bright future that lies ahead in vast exploration of limitless space in this universe.

Sainik school Kunjpura celebrated the success of Chandrayaan III. Cadets from classes VI - XII were shown PPT on INDIAN SPACE PROGRAM. Cadets were encouraged to write and recite poems in hindi. Cadets of class 8 were asked to recite self-composed poems in assembly.

Mission Chandrayaan and Misson Mars reflects India's remarkable influence in space exploration. The cadets explored the scientific objectives of this mission, highlighting its potential to unlock valuable data about lunar geology, mineral resources, and the Moon's history. They emphasized how this knowledge could
benefit not just India but the entire scientific community. They were convinced of that the space missions like Chandrayaan-3 will keep inspiring generations of young minds.

MOTIVATIONAL LECTURE
Three officers of Indian Navy visited the school for a motivational lecture to the cadets. They shared their experience of serving the Indian Navy. They described about various entries to join the Indian Navy in the officer cadre. They also provided an insight into the functioning of Indian Navy to motivate the cadets.
60TH IH ATHLETIC MEET, 2023
The 60th IH Athletic Meet, 2023 that began on 29th October, 2023 came to a successful culmination today, i.e. on 3rd Novemeber, 2023. The Chief Guest for the Closing Ceremony was Mrs Renu Bala, Mayor of Karnal. The Chief Guest was formally welcomed by the Principal, Col Vijay Rana and witnessed the finals of the 100 M Hurdles for the Senior, Junior and Holding House categories. For the girls of Holding House it was 100m race, Vritika secured the Gold. Towards the end of the closing ceremony, the Chief Guest addressed the athletes and the students of the school. She was all praise for the conduct of the event in a flawless manner and appreciated the performances of the athletes. She remarked that she was very happy to learn that this year it was for the first time that girls had participated in the Athletic Meet. She gave away the medals, certificates and trophies to the winners of the current academic session.
She also mentioned that she was informed by the Principal, Col Vijay Rana about the successful conduct of the first ever All India Sainik Schools’ National Games at the same venue last month. She emphasized upon the growing importance of games and sports in the contemporary times to inculcate the dying values of tolerance, brotherhood, camaraderie and sharing. She congratulated the winners of all divisions, specially the girls and encouraged the rest to keep practicing and enhancing their stamina, agility and performances for an improved performance in future events. In the Senior category the Best Athlete was Alok, in Juniors it was Kinshuk Kajla and Holding House the Best Athlete was Sumit. The championship trophy was lifted by Thaneswar House, in Juniors by Panipat House and in the Holding House it was lifted by Chhamb House. The evening culminated with a high tea with the Chief Guest.
