John Chrysostom, the Arch Bishop of Constantinople, was born in AD 349 and martyred in AD 407. The persecutors of this Church Father were dismayed by his intimacy with Christ. One thousand five hundred years ago, meditating on this theologian's life of devotion, a timeless Syrian hymn was written, and the Orthodox Churches continue singing it even today. Adding a new worship chorus to its classic Malayalam version, "Enne Naadu Kadathatte," I adapted it to English, Hindi, and Tamil. So, to celebrate Christ, V J Traven Academy humbly presents a tribute to the faith of John Chrysostom, the man with the golden mouth. -
