Student reflects teacher…. I thank all my teachers for what I am today and wish all my students happy and enjoyable learning forever….

This day of august marks completion of 13 years of service in radiology in Kolhapur. We started with a small rented place in Ghorpade Galli of Kolhapur. Hunger for excellence coupled with hard work, patience, perseverance and eagerness to upgrade with every coming day, we added strength to the department of Ultrasound by adding two systems, shifted in new premises in 2014-15 with addition of department of CT and MRI. Today we stand strong with best of the equipments in USG, DOPPLER, FETAL MEDICINE, CT SCAN AND MRI.

Following is our team without whose hard work and support this journey would be incomplete.

15 week pregnant patient with history of uncontrolled hypertension was referred for renal Doppler study. Sampling of renal arteries and aorta showed abnormal spectral pattern hence femoral and inferior epigastric as well as upper limb arteries were sampled.
Femoral and inferior epigastric arteries showed abnormal spectral pattern however upper limb arteries showed normal spectral pattern.
Hence suspicion of of COARCTATION OF AORTA was raised.
Maternal MRI at 20 weeks confirmed diagnosis of coarctation of aorta and multiple collateralls.

Low placed right kidney with distorted renal parenchyma with multiple cysts - Multicystic dysplastic right kidney.

Anomaly scan Sai Diagnostic and Scans showed VSD. Pulm stenosis and aortic over ride … consistent with TOF

Young male presented with abdominal angina. Ultrasound and Doppler revealed acute angulation with narrowing at the origin of Celiac artery. Doppler study showed increased velocity reaching upto 443 cm/s. Diagnosis of Median Arcuate ligament syndrome was considered and confirmed on Contrast CT abdomen. Sai Diagnostic and Scans

19 week fetus for anomaly scan. Midline interhemispheric Cyst posterior to splenium of corpus callosum - classic location of cavum interpositum cyst.

Middle aged female with palpable lump in the neck. Ultrasound and colour Doppler revealed soft tissue density masses in carotid bifurcation of either side. CT angiogram revealed intensely enhancing masses at each carotid bifurcation. Diagnosis of bilateral carotid body tumours was made Diagnostic and Scans

70yrs old came with c/o Ni**le discharge.
USG revealed dilated ducts on USG with 2 mm soft tissue lesions with internal vascularity.
Tiny specks of calcifications were present.
Was reported as suspicion of malignancy
FNAC from the soft tissue suggested malignancy.

A well defined hyperechoic mass is seen epicentred over right adrenal gland classical of Adrenal myelolipoma.
