जगभरात 7 एप्रिल हा दिवस आरोग्य दिन म्हणून साजरा होत असतो. जागतिक स्तरावर आरोग्य समस्या आणि त्यावर विचार करण्यासाठी 7 एप्रिल 1948 रोजी जागतिक आरोग्य संमेलन झाले. त्यात मानवासमोर असणारी आरोग्य समस्या सर्वांनी एकत्र येऊन सोडवावी यावर एकमत झाले. विभिन्न वंशांच्या समस्या वेगळ्या असं वाटत असलं तरी सारे मानव एक या न्यायाने आरोग्य समस्या आणि त्यावर उपाय हे साधारणपणे समान आहेत. त्यानंतर 7 एप्रिल 1950 पासून जागतिक आरोग्य संघटनेच्या मार्गदर्शनात आरोग्य दिन साजरा करण्यास सुरूवात झाली.

According to Hindu legends, Hanuman was born to mother Anjana and father Kesari. Hanuman is also called the son of the deity Vayu (Wind god) because of legends associated with Vayu's role in Hanuman's birth and is said to be the incarnation of lord Shiva (Destroyer god). One story mentioned in Eknath's Bhavartha Ramayana (16th century CE) states that when Anjana was worshiping Vayu, the King Dasharatha of Ayodhya was also performing the ritual of Putrakameshti yagna in order to have children. As a result, he received some sacred pudding (payasam) to be shared by his three wives, leading to the births of Rama, Lakshmana, Bharata and Shatrughna. By divine ordinance, a kite snatched a fragment of that pudding and dropped it while flying over the forest where Anjana was engaged in worship. Vayu, the Hindu deity of the wind, delivered the falling pudding to the outstretched hands of Anjana, who consumed it, leading to the birth of Hanuman

According to Jain texts, Mahavir was born on the thirteenth day of the bright half of the moon in the month of Chaitra in the year 599 BCE (Chaitra Sud 13).[2][3] Most modern historians consider Kundagram (which is today's Kundalpur in Muzaffarpur district of Bihar) as his birthplace. Mahavir was born in a democratic kingdom (Ganarajya), Vajji, where the king was chosen by votes. Vaishali was its capital.[4] Mahavir was named 'Vardhaman', meaning "One who grows", because of the increased prosperity in the kingdom at the time of his birth.[5] In Vasokund, Mahavir is revered by the villagers. A place called Ahalya bhumi has not been ploughed for hundreds of years by the family that owns it, as it is considered to be the birthplace of Mahavir

चैत्र शुद्ध नवमी हा हिंदू पंचागानुसार चैत्र महिन्यातील नवरात्राचा नववा दिवस आहे. या तिथीस भगवान विष्णूचा सातवा अवतार समजले गेलेले श्री राम यांचा जन्म झाला, अशी मान्यता आहे. हा दिवस श्री रामनवमी म्हणून साजरा करतात.
