SUNDAY SNIPPET
In homoeopathy finding a good teacher or mentor is really difficult but the real difficulty starts when you find one and that one start behaving like you owe him everything.
Mentors will change your life. You will be able to fast-track your learning by years through mentoring and coaching.
But don’t be afraid to leave.
One of the hardest lessons is letting go of mentors you have outgrown. You held onto relation but they will be determined to ghost you and you don't know what wrong you have done .
But sometimes, envy and jealousy can get in the way. May be you were doing well and started doing better.
If a mentor can’t have a mature conversation or gets jealous, you better off without them.Find your teacher, but don’t feel like you owe them everything.A common problem with self designated GURUs in homoeopathy
One memorable exchange from "Alice in Wonderland" resonates deeply with me: when Alice asks the Cheshire Cat which way to go, and he responds with, "That depends a good deal on where you want to get to," to which Alice admits she doesn't know, prompting the Cat to conclude, "Then it doesn't much matter which way you go."This seemingly nonsensical advice holds profound truth.
The first step to success is indeed clarity. Define your destination. What do you want to achieve? Once you have a clear goal (Point B), you can determine your starting point (Point A). This involves assessing your current situation, including your resources, skills, and knowledge.
With a destination and a starting point in mind, it's time for action. Don't be paralyzed by the distance; just start moving. Whether you take small steps or giant leaps, progress is key. The crucial factor is moving in the right direction, towards Point B.
The Recipe for Success
So, there you have it: the four ingredients for achieving your goals:
A clear destination (Point B)
Awareness of your starting point (Point A)
Taking action
Moving in the right direction
With these ingredients in hand, you'll be well on your way to your own wonderland of success!
Reflecting on the journey of life, one often finds himself pondering the roads not taken and the decisions left unmade. However, amidst the sea of regrets lies the realization that every experience and experiment has shaped who we are today. Every decision, whether deemed virtuous or flawed, audacious or hesitant, has played its part in shaping who we are today. Some precious gift you have now, found to be out of a bad decision you have taken years ago. while conversely, seemingly prudent choices may have led us down unexpected avenues of regret. As Steve Jobs famously remarked, it is only in looking backward that we can truly connect the dots of our lives, understanding the millions of possibilities and parallel universes that could have been. Every decision point is a gate to a parallel universe you could have been in. Sometimes life is happening and we don't feel it unless it's a vast collection of dots.

MISSION STATEMENT
The goal is to create a ripple effect by training thousands of homeopaths, enabling them to establish their own practices and provide essential healthcare services to the underserved portions of society. This initiative is born out of the current situation where there is a shortage of general practitioners, leaving people in need of basic diagnosis and treatment without adequate medical support.
By empowering homeopaths to start their practices, this effort aims to address both sides of the equation. Firstly, it seeks to offer quality healthcare services to individuals who are currently struggling to access timely and appropriate medical attention. Secondly, it aspires to provide homeopaths with the means to earn a livelihood with dignity, rather than being compelled to pursue jobs that are beneath their professional capabilities. Such roles, like data operators and para medics, could potentially be filled by individuals who are better suited for those positions, allowing homeopaths to focus on their core expertise in healthcare.
In essence, this initiative intends to create a positive impact that radiates outward, benefiting not only the trained homeopaths and their patients but also contributing to the overall improvement of the healthcare system by aligning professionals with roles that match their skills and qualifications.

Happy Teachers' Day 2023! 📚
As I reflect on this special day, I, as a teacher myself, can't help but think of the incredible journey I've had with my teachers, and how I am now trying to carry the legacy of their teachings forward. While I might be camera-shy, the images of my mentors are etched in my mind, guiding me through life's twists and turns.
Their wisdom, admonitions, love, and even moments of anger continue to influence my choices and actions. It's as if they're always by my side, whispering guidance in my ear as I navigate important decisions or impart knowledge to my own students. Their voices are my steadfast companions, ensuring I stay on the right path and pass on their wisdom to the next generation.
I find myself constantly measuring up to their standards, wondering how they would handle situations or mistakes. It takes me back to that day in sixth grade when I learned the importance of apostrophes (Teachers'day not Teacher's day). Such memories trigger a cascade of recollections, sometimes crystal clear and at other times, like a distant dream.
One phrase stands out like a beacon in my mind: "Jab pitaayi pakki hoti hai to ilm bhi pukhta ho jata hai" (When the discipline is strict, knowledge also matures). These words have shaped my journey, and for that, I am profoundly thankful.
To all my teachers, past and present, your impact on my life is immeasurable. Happy Teachers' Day, and may your wisdom continue to guide countless others, including my own students, on their educational journeys. 🙏📝📚

I used to take an auto rickshaw to my clinic for the last few days. I'm encountering teenagers who board and get down at a certain coaching center, unaware that I'm observing and listening to them in my pursuit to understand teenage politics. They constantly build strategies, and their gossips are usually focused on certain girls or boys who are catching eyeballs in the coaching center. They talk about whether these individuals are good, bad, or cute. Some day it's one group, someday it's the opposite group. I wonder what would happen if I tell one group what the other group was talking about them.
Teenage is a time when politics of grouping is at its height, and most importantly, boys and girls mingle, while before, it was either only boys or only girls. You will see friendships being broken or mended, loyalties shift and treasons are declared, and lots more. I wonder whether I was consciously aware of all these during my teenage days. I find these teenagers at least well placed than me and handling all these better than I did.
"Chimpanzee Politics" is a book which captures these dynamics very well and enjoyable to read
Chimpanzee Politics: Power and S*x Among Apes The first edition of Frans de Waal's Chimpanzee Politics was acclaimed not only by primatologists for its scientific achievement but also by politicians, business leaders, and social psychologists for its remarkable insights into the most basic human needs and behaviors. 2nd BHMS CLASSES HAS BEEN STARTED
I hope this will be the last time we have to teach the second-BHMS class who have not studied Organon of Medicine in their first year. Thanks to the national commission of homoeopathy, Organon of Medicine has been reintroduced in the first-year curriculum. Organon of Medicine is a crucial subject that shapes a medical graduate into a homoeopath, providing essential concepts of disease, health, and cure.Previously, when I asked my second- BHMS students about the treatment for a lipoma, almost all of them would consistently answer "excision." This response stemmed from their study of anatomy and physiology without the parallel understanding gained from Organon of Medicine classes. It is important to delve into the concept of disease and its dynamic nature, and once I discuss this with my students, (AND BELIEVE ME IT WAS REALLY VERY TOUGH TO DISCUSS WITH THE MINDS HAVING PRECONCEIVED IDEAS ) their response unanimously shifts towards internal treatment. As a homoeopath, it is our responsibility to make decisions regarding the appropriate course of treatment for our patients. This may involve deciding whether to continue treatment ourselves, refer the patient to a specialist, or consider surgery. Such decisions are influenced by our knowledge and comprehension of Organon of Medicine. By initiating the teaching of Organon of Medicine at an earlier stage, we can cultivate more skilled and effective homoeopaths.
Empowerment is the essence of practice for every homoeopath, providing them with the means to overcome any confusion or desperation that may have arisen during their study. It is the key to transcending uncertainty, enabling them to confidently navigate the complexities of their chosen field. By embracing this empowering mindset, homoeopaths can emerge with clarity and a renewed sense of purpose, ready to provide effective and compassionate care to those in need.

Boennighausen's croup powders - a set of five powders all in 200 hundred potencies first two of Aconite and next three of Hepar and Spongia - were more celebrated with older homoeopaths. Boennighausen has given directions of it's use which one can find in his lesser writings. The exact obedience to his directions has always proved itself most perfectly effective and I have been assured of it in my clinic in last 6-7 years, though I have replaced powders with distilled water phials.

Croup is basically dry cough originating in upper respiratory tract, you will find congested pharynx and laryngitis while chest will be clear on auscultation while parents will complain of "Ghar-Ghar" sound don't be deceived by this narration and rush to "Antium Tart. " Always believe your acumen to use your stethoscope you will find no wheezing neither any crackles in chest, so what is this "ghar-ghar"? This is basically a stridor a common feature of URTI.
I will add one more medicine in Indian context for dry cough and that is our Occimum Sanctum in low dilution. Another indian medicine famous for cough is Justicia, Dr. S. C. Ghosh in his Drugs of Hindoosthan has mentioned the famous saying " Where there is Basaka there is no cough" But for me it is for the cough originating in LRT rather than croup.
The fact that Larynx and throat are affected, at times make croup more resistant to treatment until some anti-syphilitic is given.
