Product: Pressure Relief Valves

Pressure relief valves are used in hydraulic systems to limit the system pressure to a specific set level. If this set level is reached, the pressure relief valve responds and feeds the excess flow from the system back to the tank.

Note: the pressure relief valve is a normally closed pressure control valve.

Product: Pop Rivet Gun

A Pop Rivet Gun is made to apply pop rivets to a workpiece. This type of rivet gun is unique in its operation, because it does not hammer the rivet into place. Rather, a pop rivet gun will form a rivet in-place.

When the gun is actuated (typically by squeezing the handle), a ball on the rivet’s tail is drawn towards the head, compressing a metal sleeve between the ball and the head. This forms another “head” on the opposing side to the workpiece, drawing the work together and holding it securely in place.

Hoists operated by compressed air are employed in operations requiring accurate control of lifting or lowering speeds. In most cases, they are used outdoors and under conditions in which corrosive fumes, explosive gases, or inflammable fluids are present.

Hoists can be operated in remote environments because they do not run on electric motors.

Air hoists typically weigh 40% – 50% less than electric hoists. They are designed to be low maintenance, impervious to dirt and dust, heat, vapors, high temps, and humidity, and self-cooling.

Our Pneumatic Sump Pumps are suitable for pumping sea water and certain corrosive chemicals as well as water from trenches, ditches, manholes, etc.

They can be used in industrial sumps and excavations: wet drilling applications where the pumped liquid contains rock fragments or other solids.

Another variant, Sludge Pumps, can handle liquids containing up to 15 percent solids and including particles up to 1” (25 mm) in size. However, these pumps should not be used to pump flammable liquids.

Chisels are used to break or demolish concrete/roads in construction sites.

Made of high quality shock resistant tungsten steel, chisels come in 2 variants: Pointed and Flat. Length can vary from application to application. A chisel requires between 5 and 11 cubic feet per minute (CFM) of airflow to power the blade. This assumes an average air pressure of 90 pounds per square inch (PSI).

Pneumatic Impact wrenches use stored rotational kinetic energy to deliver a large amount of torque but over a fraction of a rotation.
Impact wrenches are usually handheld but may be mounted on articulating arms for factory assembly applications.

The primary function of an impact wrench is to deliver high torque to nuts and bolts. They operate via a spring-operated hammer that temporarily disconnects from the output, allowing it to spin as fast as it can. This spinning allows the hammer to store its maximum kinetic energy.
The spring forces the hammer down, where it impacts the output anvil and delivers all the stored energy in a very short time for maximum power.
This process is repeated to rotate the output shaft.
