For five decades, CINI has empowered women and children on an individual and community level, to help break the cycle of intergenerational poverty and disadvantage in India.

We have been associated with CINI in India since they began in 1974, and have built a respectful, honest and authentic partnership with them. This year, CINI Team Members will self-fund their travel to Kolkata to share this remarkable milestone together.

Jharkhand State Youth Conclave, Ranchi on and Sexual Reproductive Health Rights of Young People, that was organized in Ranchi on 10th Jan'2024 by CINI, Jharkhand in collaboration with Dasra's Ab Meri Bari Campaign. The conclave was inaugurated by Shri. Bidyanand Sharma Pankaj (J.A.S), AMD, NHM, Dr. S. S. Paswan, Additonal Project Director, JSACS, CINI's Founder Secretary, Dr. Samir N. After the completion of the first phase, 52 special educators of SSM resource rooms and 26 teachers from Government Primary Schools have received certificates for their active participation. The training is conducted by the Indian Sign Language trainer from AYJNISHD MUMBAI.

Adolescent Health and Wellness days have been an integral component of the RKSK programme. The same was implemented in Simdega district of Jharkhand with some innovative approach to ensure increased footfalls, involvement of key stakeholders and improved service delivery. The innovations were widely accepted by the Government of Jharkhand and were also showcased in the recently concluded G20 – Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) event in New Delhi. With the objective to amplify the innovations in all the 8 RKSK districts of Jharkhand, the first event was held in Simdega on 6th Dec 2023. The event was held with a formal approval and letter from the Civil Surgeon, Simdega and held in the premises of the District Hospital.

In observance of the our Chief of Programmes, Mr. Megendra Banerjee, and Dr. Swati Chakroborty, Assistant Director of the Kolkata unit, with other representatives from the CINI head office, ceremoniously unveiled the flag to inaugurate a three-day tableau campaign. The program saw active participation from numerous Deaf youths.
Over the ensuing three days, the tableau will traverse various neighborhoods in Kolkata, dedicatedly raising awareness about the crucial significance of early identification and intervention mechanisms to create an inclusive society. "A state level was organised by CINI under the Program in on the 30th Nov'2023 focussing on "Advancing Health Outcomes with Collaborative Efforts." Chaired by Mr. Bhor Singh Yadav, I.A.S., Director, Department of Industries, Govt. of Jharkhand, the event united Corporate Heads, Media, and Civil Society Organizations. The Conclave spotlighted successful collaborations, emphasizing sustainable models for impactful change and identifying potential collaboration areas. With enlightening panel discussions on "Civil Society & CSRs" and "Emerging Trends in Social Development," the event witnessed CSRs and CSOs sharing insights on skill development, women's participation, natural resource preservation, impact of climate change on SRH of young population and social inclusion. Diverse groups, including Government, CSRs, Media, and CSOs, converged to set the stage for future collaborations.The event was inaugurated by lightning the lamp by Shri Bhor Singh Yadav, IAS followed by CSR heads from FJCCI, CII, Usha Martin, Hindalco and representatives from Jhpiego.
