West Bengal ~ Passport to Earning Orientation The session will orient the teachers about the Passport to Earning program, which provides skills to 9th to 12th-class students of West Bengal.

School Education Department, Govt of West Bengal today received Technology Sabha Excellence Award in the category of “Enterprise Applications” from Indian Express Group.

We are proud to recognize the commitment of 101,464 teachers for successfully completing the training by Microsoft and its Global Training partner (GTP), Tech Avant-Garde in partnership with School Education Department, Government of West Bengal.

প্রকৃতি পাঠ ও পর্যবে ক্ষণ শীর্ষক একটি Nature Study Camp এর আয়োজন করলেন হাওড়া জেলার আমতা পূর্ব চক্রের ৫টি বিদ্যালয়ের ১০০ ছাত্রছাত্রী। প্রকৃতির মধ্যে নিজেকে মেলে ধরা ও প্রকৃতির সাথে নিবিড় সম্পৰ্ক স্থাপন এই ক্যাম্প এর মলূ উদ্দেশ। প্রকৃতি ও প্রাকৃতিক সম্পদ সংরক্ষণ বিষয়ে ছাত্রছাত্রীদের মধ্যে সচেতনতা তৈরী করা এই ক্যাম্প এর আরেকটি লক্ষ্য।

A great initiative taken by the School Education Department, West Bengal in association with Microsoft India to train 01 ( one) lakh teachers through online training courses on 'Professional Development of School Teachers and Hybrid Learning (IT)' . Head Master/Head of the Institute and Assistant Teachers from Primary, Upper Primary, Secondary & Higher Secondary Schools may participate in this program. District wise registration process going on from 30.10.23 to 09.11.23.

Around 61000 teachers have already been registered.

Glimpses of the workshop held today on 12.10.2023 with Head Masters and Head Mistresses trained in Leadership Development Programme organized by School Education Department in collaboration with Calcutta. Guests and Dignitaries present there.....Shri. Bratya Basu, Hon'ble MIC, School Education & Higher Education Departments, Shri Manish Jain, IAS ,Principal Secretary, Prof. (Dr.) Uttam Sarkar, Director IIM Calcutta , Shri , Shri. Subhra Chakraborti, IAS, Dr. Chiranjib Bhattacharjee, President, WBCHSE, Dr.Rajeah Babu, Professor, IIM Calcutta Prof. Sumanta Basu , IIM Calcutta, Prof. Saikat Maitra, IIM Calcutta and other officials of School Education & Higher Education Departments and the HMs, officials from the districts on virtual mode.

A nature friendly Butterfly Park has been created by the teachers and students of Shri Narasingha Vidyapith, Siliguri. This park has been set up on 5000 sq ft area of and at the premises of the school with 15 varieties of butterfly as of now. This model park is getting popular among the students of other schools also.
