The process Is to:

• Create an open item on the inspection report
• Assign somebody to fix it
• Physically mark the issue or area to prevent coverup
• Take a picture to clearly identify the issue and show how it’s marked in the field
• Correct the issue
• Document the correction
• Approve and close the item

Probably you all have heard of ‘’Magic Triangle’’ of project management consists of three key elements (Scope, Time and Cost) that are interrelated, and changes to one will often impact the other two. For example if you need to complete the project more quickly, it may require a larger budget or a reduction in scope.

Harry Sneed, a professor for software engineering, has extended this model by a fourth constraint. This results in the so-called "Devil's Quadrangle of Project Management" or sometimes referred to as "Sneed's Devil's Quadrangle" adding Quality as the fourth parameter. In order to maintain expected quality and scope of a project an increase of costs will incur if there is a time quench.

Changes in one parameter always affect one or more of the remaining factors, leading to a changing form of the quadrangle.
