I have had an amazingly satisfying and fulfilling career as a helicopter pilot in Indian Air Force and hung my flying boots in July 22. Those were the days..

Some images just stop you in your tracks. The images that evoke a question about what could be going one in the persons mind? This was one such. To me she appeared to be reminiscing some happy times, perhaps from her childhood days, a bubbly teenager may be?..

The rain whispers secrets,
On the car's window panes,
She listens, lost in thought,
To life's memories and strains.

Her gaze, a portal to the past,
Her thoughts, a mystery untold,
Her heart, a labyrinth of love,
Her soul, a story to unfold.

The raindrops dance and play,
A mesmerizing sight to see,
And as she watches them, she prays,
For clarity and serenity.

For in this moment of stillness,
With the rain as her only friend,
She finds comfort in its gentle caress,
And a peace that never ends.

Unanswered Questions

Completed painting of the sadhu. His eyes seem to be asking a question, perhaps looking back on his life and thinking if all that he gave up was worth it. Is it really?

Charche!

I think this is one of the most iconic songs as a complete package. They danced the Shake, Shammi Kapoor and Mumtaz. The peppy number, perfectly complemented by the energetic duo just took the viewers along on a journey. Mumtaz was pure fire in that right wrapped orange saree. Shammi in his usual playful self..

I build homes!

As ironic as it gets, that's the way many child labourers do, building other people's homes, bungalows and villas. Maybe not on site, but back at brick fields, mining locations and a million other places.
