INCOME TAX :
* No change in I.Tax Slab Rates
* No change in 80-c deductions
* Surcharge on cooperative societies reduced to 12% for income of
Rs 1 crore to 10 crore.
*Tax deduction limit increased to 14% on employers contribution to NPS of Centr & state government employees.
* Taxpayers can file updated ITR within two year of relevant assessment year, says FM (Full details awaited)
* To opt for Concessional tax rate under sec 115AB, sunset has been extended up to 31 March 2024 from current 31 March 2023.
* TDS @1% on Crypto currency introduced
* Tax Rate @ 30% on profits from Crypto Currency
* Tax Rate reduced from 18% to 15% for Cooperative Societies
* Caping on LTCG at 15%
* No settlement in case of I. Tax Raid ( All money will be confiscated)
* Corporate surcharge to be reduced from 12% to 7%,
* Tax deduction limit increased to 14% on employers contribution to NPS for State Govt. employees
