Had opportunity of programming more than 500 Arduino pro Mini kits for driving Pixel LED's for one f our customers. 32Kb of memory with beautiful eye catching effects.

Photographers based in mangalore know well what a Fungus does to their work. It may be a curse to all of us as we have high temperatures with high humidity levels which are ideal for growth of fungus. Another plus pint is that the fungus grows on the inner most part of the lens where the sun rays reach minimum. Sunlight is abundant in ultraviolet, and infrared radiations which are harmful for fungus which dry out and die.
Really had a tiring day with a single lens which had fungus which was naturally giving out blurry and fuzzy images. Had to clean and treat more than 4 lens unit which is tiring process. After all, the results will be available only after fitting each and every unit back, every screw in place, and the final connector on the neck touches the body of the Camera. Once and misalignment is found, the whole process needs to be repeated from disassembly to reassembly and testing. However with my years of experience, had final crisp pictures with just one fine tuning and a days work is DONE.
One final word. Please do not try any lens to open, as every lens has a Gyro for image stabilization which is set with a custom made software, and Focusing charts.

We had seen the WS2811 based pixel LED entering the Indian market with a controller named T-1000S which is available from various manufacturers from China. It uses a GUI software where the user needs to choose the LED's used and program various pre-fed designs to a SD card which will be then read by the controller and the designs will be run on the LED strips.
Despite we had pre-fed designs in the software provided by the supplier, local lighting engineers and technicians were not satisfied with the deisgns what it delivers and wanted custom made patterns on the LED's
So we decided to go with Atmega328P as our processor and here is the result. What you see is 10 stips of 100 WS2811 Pixel LED's all connected to a single source via a signal splitter which gives same data to all the strips.

Hobby kit section is now added with new design of LPG gas leakage detector with MQ6 sensor and NE555 timer IC which replaces the old design which was with LM324. This kit detects any traces of LPG in the air and triggers a 5 second timer which activates a buzzer and a 12 volt relay at the same time. Buzzer gives and audible indication whereas the relay can be used to trigger other external loads like a Bulb, exhaust fan, or a siren which works on 220V AC. The circuit is isolated from the hazardous voltages due to the electro magnetic relay used.

May it be a Kidnapping, Drugs, Sandalwood, Liquor smuggling or any other such illegal activity, we keep hearing about vehicle thefts everyday. Vehicle owners have a host of options like the Central locking, Gear locks, and GPS and GSM based security systems, and people do try to protect the vehicle in various other ways too. Majority of the thefts are reported to the police and about 50% of the vehicles are recovered by the police but rest are still non traceable till date. Moment the vehicle is stolen the first thing the burglar naturally does is changing the license plate to mask the identity as the stolen vehicle will be under scan by the police department.
The immobilizer system described here gives a fool proof solution to this activity and may prove a boon to vehicle owner if implemented in a right way with support of RTO and the government. The system is based on the principle of RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) which is a contact-less identification system based on radio waves. The moment the original number plate is removed from the vehicle, the engine is immobilized and prevents further staring of the engine. The engine activity is suspended even the case a duplicate number plate bearing same number is installed or any other number plate is used. The engine is only responsive to the original number plate whose details are pre programmed in the memory of a tiny microcontroller. The details of the registered number plate can be verified with a hand held reader which displays the owner and registration number details.
the vehicle number plate or the license plate will have an RFID chip embedded inside and this is all what it is should have. All RFID chips will have a unique identification code which is programmed inside the chip by the manufacturer during the manufacturing process and is non volatile. The code can be read innumerable times but cannot be modified or deleted. This feature forces the burglar to use the original number plate which can be easily traced.
To make the project robust, the license plate needs to be manufactured in such a way that physically tampering or modifying is almost impossible or very difficult. It may be manufactured with embossing machines where numbers are embossed from back surface plus a watermarking of “Govt of India” may also be printed over the surface. A 3D hologram and one will also add for the complication in the event of modifying or using the back side of the number plate. The RFID chip may be installed near the installation bolt surroundings as this will minimize the risk of damages to the chip in an event of a minor accident and the vehicle can still be used without immobilizing the engine.
The road transport department is expect to have a dedicated department where the owner of the vehicle needs to get the RFID enabled number plate programmed where in addition he’ll also be issued an additional RFID chip which will be a duplicate in case the number plate is broken or damaged in case of an major accident and the vehicle is not capable of starting. The duplicate chip may be stored in a safe place in the car or else where.
Moment a License plate is programmed, the main server will be fed with the vehicle and owner’s photo and other relevant details and the Number plate security system of the car is also fed with the same data of the chip which becomes valid and the vehicle is ready to use. The valid number plate needs to be in the vicinity of the reader to communicate constantly with the main system. In case the number plate is removed, the system will have no valid ID to read and thus will shut down the engine.
The RFID enabled number plate requires to be fitted in the vicinity of the reader and the programmed data of the number plate will be read by the reader and will be matched with pre-programmed data of the owner and engine etc and the engine will start only all the data’s match. In case of an accident and in case of any damage to the number plate, the department may issue a duplicate plate which will be a miniature version which can be attached near the reader area and the engine may be started. The system is designed in such a way that the valid data is read every 5 seconds and in case the number plate is removed or tampered and is not found in the initial place, the system shuts down the engine preventing further operating of the engine.
In addition to this security, the authorities will be issued a special reader which will help identity the genuineness of the number plate in case it is physically tampered with. The hand held reader is taken near the number plate of the vehicle and the data is read. The data is then sent to the main server by GSM communication for verification and the data related to the number plate is received back from the server on the display of the hand held reader, where the photo of the owner, details of the vehicle and engine will be visible. Thus authorities are always in a right way to detect the bad from the good.
Instead of complicating the communication part at present for demo purpose, we are displaying pre programmed details of users corresponding to the respective number plates on the LCD display. Here the codes in the number plate are matched with the pre programmed codes in the main CPU of the reader and the respective detail of the owner is displayed.

6 channel sequencial chaser for decorative light.
This kit is widely used in the manufacturing Running lights in Photos, and other 220 volts ac applications. 1000+ board s being assembled for one of our esteemed customer from Mangalore and other from Bangalore. Water level controller kit:
Being assembled is 150PCB's of water level controller kit which can monitor sump as well as the over head tank levels and control the motor respectively. The Circuit is powered by 12 volts and the On-Board relay is capable of handling currents up to 2 amps without any headaches..Despite the relay datasheet says 4 amps we highly recommend loads not more than 2amps to be on the safer side..
