Monitor Your Mind

We take captive every thought. If thieves came to our door, we wouldn't invite them in. We would call the police and have them arrested. That’s what we need to do when wrong thoughts come to our mind! Take them captive—before they take us captive. And we must do it the moment the first one tries to enter our mind.

When we entertain a thought, we empower it. We get to decide who will control our mind: The mind governed by the negativity around us is death, but the mind governed by the inner strength and spirit is life and peace.

When a thought keeps turning over and over in our mind, we should ask ourselves, What direction is this thought leading us in? Is it towards spiritual death, or towards life and peace? We don’t buy insurance after a storm has flattened our house. If we’re wise, we do it before the storm comes.

So instead of failing down look back and ask yourself, What we're thinking that leads to our failure? Are we in the wrong company, or the wrong place, or the wrong mindset?

Have we been walking in the path of righteousness ? Have we built our life around people who strengthen us? In the long run, monitoring our mind pays great dividends!

Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. The greatest poverty of our times is not hunger, but the feeling of being uncared for, unwanted and unloved.

We feel frustrated or anxious. There may be things we do not understand and life may seem confusing. We may be wondering why God has brought us where we are and what God’s plan is. We may not have understood our purpose yet or we may feel unloved and unworthy.

We have got so involved with our own lives, that we are totally unaware and unconcerned about those around us.

We must learn to count others more significant than ourselves. We can start by reaching out to one person at a time, it may be just a drop in the ocean, but it's a significant drop for that person.

We must hold on until our joy comes. In any form of laborious work pain is an inevitable part, when we are experiencing pain, don’t fight it, walk through it and allow it to accomplish its purpose.

We must honor the hard work and dedication of workers, when someone comes to us for solace or to seek advice, very often they want nothing more than our presence, a listening ear, a willingness to share in their sorrow and to know that we understand what they’re going through, and that we care for them.

We must listen to them with an open heart instead of trying to talk away their problems, If they’re crying, share their tears. If they’re silent, share their silence. Let them know you’re available, ready to help.

Our patience and endurance is tested while accomplishing any work, when our patience & endurance is fully developed, we will be perfect and complete. We must learn to endure this season of pain, knowing that our joy is waiting on the other side of it!

God allows us to grow through insults, to grow through great humiliations, discouraging and disheartened moments just to bring humility in us.

Situations comple us to live docile and grounded.
A humble person attracts a multitude, whereas a proud and arrogant person has only a handful of friends or well wishers.

Every time we are hit hard with sufferings, harsh words, insults and burdens it always moulds us to be strong and humble in nature.

Let's always pray for the gift of humility.

Meditation - Be a Lifter.

There are times when people need you to stand in the gap when they’re down, heart broken, off course, not making good decisions. It’s easy to criticize and find fault. “Why did they do that? They should have known better.”

They don’t need our judgment, they need our support and faith in them. We can be the one who pushes them from the discouragement, who lifts them back on their feet. Be a friend with faith—not a friend with criticism, a friend with judgment, a friend with jealousy.

Be a lifter, be an encourager. Tell them that we’re praying for them, that we love them, that we believe in them.
Our faith can be what lights their passion. Our faith can be what breaks the envious feeling of jealousy and stubbornness.

And we’ll discover that when we help others in need, there’s no limit to how high God will take you.

Whatever you do in this world, do it as though you are doing it to the Lord .

The world may never appreciate, never congratulate, never understand, but that’s okay. When you are doing it to the Lord you will be in peace. The good you sow will bring back a rich harvest of righteousness.

So don’t be disheartened by the wrong happenings, negative circumstances, negative environment around you , instead pray , submit your supplication to the lord so that the end may not be grevious.

Fighting with inner enemies.

We must not verbalise our fears and shouldn't voice our doubts and worries. We shouldn't parade our problems in public. Whenever we are deeply fearful, doubtful and worried we shouldn't give a voice to our feelings.

Speak positive, speak life, don't look at the circumstances around you but speak your destiny. zip your lips and pray silently. That’s the reality for many of us too , we have faith, but in times of distress, fear creeps in.

We must fence ourselves with self discipline to overcome - Fear, Insecurity, jealousy, stubbornness, arrogance, greed, rebellion, unexpressed or unmet expectations, unrealistic expectations, differing beliefs, philosophies, or views, competing desires and negative emotions etc.

There are about 200 million galaxies in the universe. Our galaxy is called the Milky Way galaxy , and if the earth were to go around the Milky Way once it would take about 240 million years .

All we have to do is to take a look at our feet to realise the footprint or space we occupy in this gigantic universe.

How totally small and insignificant we seem to be . But the the Lord who bought all this into existence, is so mindful of us, are we mindful of Lord?(every creation of Lord)

May this new year open the floodgates of favour and shower so much blessings into our life that it overflows in abundance of love, grace, joy, health, peace, prosperity.

May this new year open new doors of opportunity for all of us and ends the season of hopelessness, sickness , loss.

The favour of the lord will helps us to fight against every darkness, sickness, perils, temptations and delivers us from every yoke of the worldly bo***ge.

Die empty...

The most beautiful book to read is "Die Empty" by Todd Henry. The author was inspired and got this idea of writing ​​this book while attending a business meeting. When the director asked the audience: "Where is the richest land in the world?"

One of the audience answered: "Oil-rich Gulf states." Another added: "Diamond mines in Africa." Then the director said: "No it is the cemetery. Yes, it is the richest land in the world, because millions of people have departed/died and they carried many valuable ideas that did not come to light nor benefit others. It is all in the cemetery where they are buried."

Inspired by this answer, Todd Henry wrote his book, "Die empty" where he did his best to motivate people to pour out their ideas and potential energies in their communities and turn them into something useful before it is too late.

The most beautiful of what he said in his book is: "Do not go to your grave and carry inside you the best that you have. Always choose to die empty...

Whoever loves money, gets caught in a vicious cycle of wanting more and never being satisfied. The wealth he/she acquires becomes a shackle around his/her leg.

But whoever loves the Lord, he/she will have enough and more. This wealth will be a blessing not only to themselves but for their generations too...

🪷🪷🪷 Unsheathe Your Sword 🪷🪷🪷

It's easy to let difficulties, disappointments and adverse situation wear us down to where we lose our fight and passion.

Are we just accepting weakness, negativity and failure and waiting for favour? We shouldn't just sit around in weakness talking about how life is not fair and how we’ll probably always struggle. Talking defeat brings more defeat. Talking about the weakness will keep us weak and our sword will stay in its sheath.

God has given us a sword that can break powers that are holding us back. Start believing again. We have a powerful sword that can unleash our dreams, unlock our potential and thrust us to a new level. Take it out of its sheath and start swinging it.

If we keep swinging our sword in the darkness and adversity we’ll see good things, favor, restoration, healing, blessings, breakthroughs and new levels of our destiny.

A shepherd has to be concerned with the needs of his own flock, he has to pay close attention to them on a daily basis, otherwise he would miss signs of injuries, thistles on their feet, sicknesses and thus incur loss. A good shepherd knows his flock well and takes good care of them.

A father/leader is called to be shepherd of his own family or organisation first. He has to pay close attention to them on a daily basis, otherwise he would miss signs of physical, emotional and spiritual distress and thus incur severe loss and pain.

A father/leader not only empowers obedience but also he teaches, guides, intercedes, comforts, transforms his children. Whenever we’re beset by tough times or temptations, a he provides strength, endurance, hope, and encouragement to his children/followers.

Keep Your Anchor Down

What keeps our soul in the right place and causes us to overcome challenges and reach our dreams is being anchored to hope.

When we’re anchored to hope, nothing we face can move us, the winds, the waves, and the dark storms of life may come, but we’re not worried about anything as we have our anchor down.

Today there will be something that tries to get us to pull up our anchor—a bad break, unexpected family problems, failures, health issues, disappointments.
If we pull it up, we’ll drift over into doubt, discouragement, and self-pity.

We shouldn't put our hope in our circumstances, they may not work out the way we want. We shouldn't put our hope in people, money and our position, they may leave or let us down. Keep your hope on the lord!

What’s in our Picture Frame?

Every one of us has a picture in our mind of ourself, our family, our future. The question is, what does our picture look like?

Do we see ourself rising higher, overcoming obstacles, and living an abundant life? Or, do we have a picture of ourself struggling, defeated, addicted, overweight, and never getting good breaks?

The pictures, we allow in our mind will determine what kind of life we live. If our vision is limited, our life will be limited. We must dare to get a fresh, new vision of victory for our life.

We don’t have to figure out how it’s going to happen. All we have to do is believe. One touch of lord’s favor can bring any dream to pass. But we have to see it on the inside before it will ever come to pass on the outside.

We must surround ourselves with positive people - people who motivate, encourage, inspire and most of all who are well-wishers, people with a life of purpose, enlightenment and progress, who speak word of encouragement for others.

Surround with people who is willing to lift you up , who tell you to stay strong , to stay hopeful, to be positive, to depend on inner strength and spirit.

The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, forgiveness, and SELF-CONTROL. Self-control which, like self-discipline, generally refers to our ability to control or restrain ourselves from all kinds of feelings, impulses, and desires, which includes the desire for physical and material comfort.

It is clear that our seemingly insatiable human appetites and needs can easily lead to sinful excesses if not controlled. Especially the lack of self-discipline is leading to problems like obesity, alcoholism, drug use, and debt.

The enticements of the material world have caused many to yearn for and acquire material goods far beyond their needs and their ability to pay for them. Our appetites for comforts and pleasures can easily become our master and lead us into path of un-rightiouness.

A house has got 3 parts. Foundation, rooms and roof. Each is important. A house without a strong foundation can come down anytime. If any of these is missing, that affects the usefulness of the house.

A house without roof, however strong the foundation or expensive the rooms are, it won't protect us from sun, rain, cold etc.

Similarly in our daily life the austerity of our speech should have 3 main part - truthful, pleasing and beneficial. Our words shouldn't be rude and agitating to other, also it should be beneficial for us or others.

When we’re talking to someone, their acceptance doesn’t come from our heightened decibel level, but from our ability to speak pleasantly, listen, understand, empathise, and respond with wisdom.

One destroys and the other saves.
It’s evil (negative energy/emotions/thoughts) whose singular purpose in life is to steal people away from the knowledge of truth and in the process it destroys our inner consciousness, rightiouness, faith and boldness to face the circumstances of life.

We must feed the hungry, give drink to the thirsty, clothe the naked, shelter the homeless, visit the sick & imprisoned, counsel the doubtful , instruct the ignorant, comfort the sorrowful, forgive all injuries/offenses, bear wrongs patiently.

Painful & difficult seasons strengthen and mature our faith. Franklin D. Roosevelt wrote, “A smooth sea never made a skillful sailor.”

It’s a simple but easy saying that reminds us about the importance of hardships in our life. Without challenges, we never learn new skills or gain the spiritual strength needed in order to endure suffering & hardships.

Just as muscle in order to build up must endure some pain, our emotions must endure pain in order to strengthen. Suffering causes our focus to turn inward to face those parts of ourselves we might otherwise ignore.

So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day. The deepest pains may linger through the night, but joy greets the soul with the smile of morning.

speak only positive words of faith and victory over youself, your family, and you future. Do not use words to describe your situation, instead use your words to change you future...

I believe we could learn some phenomenal life lessons from every single common man or woman we come across.

Like the simple stone breaker in this picture who taught us the importance of hard work irrespective of pain, struggle and challenges.

The workability of any project lies in two main factor: Obedience & Patience!

Everything revolves around obedience and patience. If we don't obey and stay patient nothing works right, no matter how beautiful the plan!

If we obey and stay patient, no matter how difficult the program is, it will be done! If we obey and stay patient, we will take responsible actions rather than look for who to blame, when we have done nothing commensurately to produce results.

For us to succeed, we must have the understanding to take action in obedience and patience! The key word obedience & patience are life changing elements that help to live a successful life without lacking.

Be kind and tenderhearted with one another, don't be rude and humiliating with one another!

We must spend our life in pursuit of that which has lasting significance and eternal value!

We must lift the fallen, restore the broken, and encourage the discouraged!

Each living being in this universe is holding weapon of darkness and weapon of rightiouness! The gigantic Sun is not engulfing/shallowing us although it has the potential to do so, rather it is continuously working as the source of energy and creating new lives.

When the source of all creations is holding weapon of rightiouness to ensure life, what is stopping us to shine our light to ensure peace on the earth? What is tempting us to invite so much of bloodshed and destruction of life?

What is stopping us to become the very agent of illumination that a dark situation begs for? What is stopping us to be the light for others When everything seems cloaked in darkness?

Be Gentle & be teachable!!!

When someone corrects you, be teachable and not unreachable. Let everyone be quick to listen but slow to use tongue, and slow to lose temper. If we do the first two things, the third one naturally falls into place. If we are quick to listen and slow to answer back, we’re going to be slow to lose our temper.

So use the ears more than the mouth, and be willing to accept correction. The wisest people have a ‘teach me’ attitude and are willing to learn from others. We can learn from anyone, if we just know the right questions to ask. It is important that we never stop asking and never stop learning!

Be teachable, not unreachable. If you want to end up lonely in life, never admit your mistakes, never learn from anyone, and never let anyone teach you anything. Walk with humility, love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness and gentleness!

The journey is short, Do everything in love 💛

Each of us must understand that our time in this world is so short,
- darkening it with useless arguments, jealousy, discontentment and bad attitudes are a ridiculous waste of time and energy. When someone break our heart, discourage, betray, intimidate, cheat or humiliate us - Relax, Don't be Stressed. The trip is too short.

When someone make a bad comment that you didn't like, Stay calm. Ignore. Whatever problem comes to us, it is a problem only if we think of it, remember, that our journey together is short. No one knows the length of our trip. Nobody knows when it will arrive at its stop. Our trip together is too short.

Let us appreciate/encourage friends and family. Let us be respectful, kind, loving & caring. Because we will be filled with gratitude and joy, after all Our trip together is very short. Choose your path to be as beautiful as you wish it to be!!!

Good learning, so sharing "There’s no shortage of people who will tell, It can’t be done or It won’t work. Don't get hopeless by listening to the people called ‘dream killers’- and if we listen to them we’ll give up before we even begin.

HOW MUCH DOES A CUP OF HATRED COST?

I never knew it was that expensive. I wanted to know the cost of HATRED, so I decided to branch a shop where it's being sold.

As a good businessman who was looking for a buyer, the sales man rushed out to ask what I wanted.

I told him I wanted just a cup of hatred, then he smiled and asked if I could afford it?

''How much does a cup cost?'' I asked?! Hmmmmm! He took in a deep breath, then started...

👉🏼 First, it will take away your inner peace. It will cost you incurable worries.

👉🏼 It will eat up your heart. You will be deeply bitter whenever you set your eyes on the person you hate.

👉🏼 When others are celebrating him or her, you will be looking for reasons he or she does not deserve it.

👉🏼 You will become so weak and tired of seeing the person.

👉🏼 Whenever he or she laughs, you cry. While others are busy planning their future, you will be busy looking for how to pull him or her down.

👉🏼 You will begin to have different health issues like high blood pressure, diabetics, stroke, cancer, liver disease, kidney disease, etc.

👉🏼As long as you drink from the cup of hatred, bitterness, grudge, unforgiveness, malice, anger, jealousy, envy, resentment.

👉🏼 You will die before your time and go to hell.
The seller was still counting what a cup of hatred will cost me, when I shunned him, realizing how EXPENSIVE hatred is.

👉🏼I left because I knew deep down I could not afford it. I refused to pay such a huge amount when I can LOVE so easily and cheaply.

👉🏼Beloved, don't allow anybody take away your joy and sell or give you hatred.

👉🏼Avoid gossip, bitterness, anger, etc. because a lot of times, it is what you hear about somebody that breeds hatred.
