Zonal Level Kala Utsav competition held at Govt. Model Girls Higher Secondary School Mendhar

One day zone level kala Utsav competition held at Govt. Model Girls Higher Secondary School Mendhar.
The program was presided over by Syed Zulfiqar Naqvi Principal HSS Girls Mendhar. Mohd Jhangir Khan SDM Mendhar was the chief guest whereas Muhammad Latief Tabassum Dy. CEO Poonch and Syed Saleem Shah Principal HSS Boys Mendhar were the guest of honour.

Syed Natiq Hussain Shah Principal Govt. Mori Gursai, Mohd Rashid Choudhary retired Principal and Abdul Aziz CDPO Mendhar served as Judges who judged the performances of the participants.

Kala Utsav is an initiative of the Ministry of Education (MoE) under Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha, to promote arts in education by nurturing and showcasing the artistic talent of school students at the secondary stage in the country.

Besides the participants and es**rt teachers, number of other citizens also attended the function.
Vice Principal Govt HSS Girls Mendhar Aamil Hussain presented the welcome address.

Different categories of events viz. Vocal music traditional, Dance traditional folk, Instrumental- Percussive, Drama Solo Acting, Dance Classic, visual art 3D, visual art 2D and indigenous toys were organized.

The first event was Vocal music traditional in which 24 participants participated. Dance traditional folk had 12 participants, Instrumental- Percussive 2, Drama Solo Acting 3, Dance Classic 2, visual art 3D 3, Visual art 2D 4 and indigenous toys 6 students.

All the participants participated enthusiastically in all these activities and displayed their talents.

Iftikhar Ahmed Chauhan of Govt. HSS Gali Kalaban and Sobia koser of Girls Higher Secondary School Mendhar bagged first position in vocal music traditional whereas Shahid Anjum of Hs Awan and Khushi Aftab of Govt. Model Girls Higher Secondary Mendhar bagged first position in Dance traditional folk, Shivarchin Divedi of Govt. HSS Boys Mendhar in Drama Solo Acting, Sultana koser in Dance classical, Najam un Nisa of Govt. Model Girls Higher Secondary Mendhar in visual art 3D, sahil Gulzar of Govt. HSS salwah and Iram kosser of Govt. Model Girls Higher Secondary School Mendhar in visual art 2D and Insha Aftab of Govt. Model Girls Higher Secondary School Mendhar and Rahil Aftaz of Govt. HSS salwah bagged first position in indigenous toys.

Speaking on the occasion Muhammad Latief Tabassum Dy.CEO Poonch said that all the participants were well prepared and presented their local culture in the form of different activities very well. He also appreciated the organisers for organising this program in a great manner.

Jhangir Khan SDM Mendhar while speaking on the occasion expressed much satisfaction on organising this event very properly. He said that our younger generation is very talented and there is need of exploring the talent from among them. He also advised the students to keep them away from drugs and appealed all to come forward for its total eradication from the society. He also suggested the students to take keen interest in your studies beside taking part in such activities.

Syed Zulfiqar Naqvi presented the vote of thanks and expressed his thankfulness to all the organisers, staff members of HSS girls Mendhar, Sikander Khan Zicc, all participants and their es**rt teachers for making this program a great success.

Tringa Bike Rally in Mendhar

August 14, Mendhar

Department of school education under the banner of "Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav" organised a Tiranga Bike Rally in Mendhar in which more than 100 teachers from different educational zones of Mendhar participated.
The rally was flagged off by the Chief Education Officer Poonch Bishamber Dass from Govt HSS Boys Mendhar. It was the result of a joint effort of DyCEO Poonch HQ Mendhar Mohammad Latief Choudhary and Principal HSS Girls Mendhar Zulfiqar Naqvi who holds the additional charge of ZEO Mendhar also that such a mega show could be possible.
Principals of different schools viz Natiq Jafri, Barkat Hussain and Zonal Education Officers of the sub division Mendhar viz Nazir Hussain and Ghulam Nabi Wani were present on this occasion.
Besides Tehsildar Mendhar Rahul Basotra and Naib Tehsildar Mendhar Mukesh Singh also witnessed the show. It is pertinent to mention here that the physical wing of Govt HSS Boys Mendhar that includes Mir Alam, Abrar Ahmed and Vikram Bhasin put their untiring efforts to make this rally a grand show. The full coparation of Arif Hussain Sr Lecturer, Shakoor Khan Sr Lecturer, Basharat Hussain Sr Lecturer, Dr Aijaz Ahmed Tr and Parwaz Khan Tr is also worth mentioning.
The rally that started from Boys HSS Mendhar finally culminated in Mela Ground Sakhi Maidan where CEO Poonch addressed the teaching fraternity and threw light on the importance of the Trinaga rally. He said that the tringa rally is a symbol to demonstrate the solidarity with our mother land India.
