महात्मा गांधी केंद्रीय विश्वविद्यालय मोतिहारी के समाज कार्य विभाग द्वारा "बाढ़ राहत सामग्री" कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया जिसमे समाज कार्य विभाग के छात्रों द्वारा NH 28A(अवधेश चौक) और नंदपुर गांव में अस्थाई रूप से रह रहे लगभग 82बाढ़ पीड़ितों के बीच हफ्ते भर का राशन सामग्री और मास्क सेनिटाइजर का वितरण किया गया।

महात्मा गांधी केंद्रीय विश्वविद्यालय के #समाज_कार्य विभाग के छात्रों ने गरीब असहाय भूखे एवम जरूरतमंद लोगों के लिए दिनांक:-12-06-2021 दिन शनिवार से #सेवा_सप्ताह की शुरुआत की गई।

इसी कड़ी में आज प्रथम दिन छात्रों द्वारा शहर के विभिन्न स्थानों जैसे अवधेश चौक छतौनी चौक मिशन चौक एवम विभिन्न सेवा बस्ती में 500 पैकेट भोजन का वितरण किया गया।

ज्ञात हो की समाज कार्य अपने शुरुआती समय से ही विश्विद्यालय के परिधि से बाहर निकल समाज के हरेक तबके तक मदद पहुंचाने का काम करता रहा है।
