Get ready for Abhyanga Snan.
Every year waking up before sunrise on Narak Chaturdashi which is consider as first day of Diwali in Maharashtra.
The day starts with the aromatic oil massage then followed by applying paste of utna/ubtan (ubtan powder + warm milk/coconut milk) all over the body. Leaving it for 10-15 min and then removing the dried ubtan by gentle massage and taking hot water bath.

Ubtan is mixture of therapeutic herbs which is very useful in nourishing and softening skin. This paste works as scrub and removes dead cells from the skin. Also the pleasant aroma of Ubtan improves person’s mood.
