These brownie bites are perfect for a guilt free indulgence to satisfy a sweet craving!!
Made from easily available ingredients, it is a must try for you too if you are a fan of #wfpb foods.
2 cups cooked red beans ( I soaked them for 8 hours and then drained the water and cooked in a pressure cooker with little water for 4-5 whistles)
Dates 12-15 pitted. If you are taking medjoul dates then you may need only 6-7 as they are pretty large.
1/4 cup raw cacao powder
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tbsp almond butter
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
Plant based milk or water to adjust consistency
Vegan chocolate chips
Pecans or nuts of your choice
Blend all ingredients except the pecans and chocolate chips in a food processor. Add water or plant based milk to adjust the consistency. About 1-1.5 cups will be needed.
Add the baking soda at the end and give a good whisk.
Transfer to a baking pan or container. You can line with baking sheet if you want to unmould the brownies.
Garnish with nuts and chocolate chips
Bake in a preheated oven at 190 degree C for 20 minutes.
Cool and cut into squares.

🍨🍨🍨🍨🍨🍨🍨 Chocolate icecream made in literally 2 minutes and with 2 main ingredients!! My friend @nehazzdomain gave me this idea. It was perfect for me as I am quite lazy and totally love food which is simple and easy to make yet healthy!! Frozen banana ( now this took a day to freeze nicely), some good quality cocoa powder and a dash of vanilla essence ( totally optional) Just blend everything nicely to a creamy consistency. The natural fat in the cocoa and the frozen bananas together give a lovely real ice-cream like texture!! The sweetness was just perfect for me. Those who want it more sweet can add honey or maple syrup or jaggery syrup( kakvi) You can also play around and add soaked almonds or cashew to make it more yummy!! You can add some instant coffee powder or a couple of tsp of coffee decoction to give it some kick!! Mine has just 2 things..... frozen bananas and cocoa powder!! Flavoured water Or would some of you relate better if I say #detox water!! Water itself is a vital life giving force. When had in adequate amounts it itself helps detoxification. Adding natural flavours to it makes it more palatable and also at times enhances the antioxidant content. But the bottom line is have enough water through the day. Not too little and not too much. For most cases when unhampered by external factors our thirst is the best indicator for drinking water. But unfortunately we have many external factors which interfere with our thirst sensation. Being too occupied with work, drinking other drinks in excess or just not being mindful of the signals our body sends are some of the reasons we end up ignoring our thirst. A cumulative effect of such behaviour leads to poor bowel health and a suboptimal overall state of health and well-being. So be mindful and drink up your water. Here I have put fresh mint leaves, slices of cucumber, ginger and lemon in a jar full of water. Refrigerate overnight to get the best tasting flavoured water. Better to let it sit outside the fridge for a couple of hours before drinking it sip by sip through the day. Please avoid drinking cold fridge water.
