Enthusiasm & curiosity are essential elements in becoming better at anything we do!
That's how sums up the 5 Days Chess camp at Actiwitty Cluster at Shivaji Park!
We had the youngest participant Ira Chheda very curious to learn & play chess all day at such a young age of 5.
Sharvin, Aarin & Siddharth had a great time & played challenging matches with each other.
Though Aarin showed very good puzzle-solving skills, Sharvin possessed a good fighting spirit with optimistic traits developed in him.
Siddharth was smart & calculative with his choices while playing the mental sport chess game.
The rest of other participants were Aryaveer, Harsh*ta & Ayana.
Aryaveer wanted to play & win all games & celebrate with total energy & enthusiasm.
Two good friends Ayana & Harsh*ta though little quite very very sharp & intelligent when it came to solving challenging puzzles & looked forward to playing chess games enthusiastically.
Huge thanks to cool-calm & dynamic coaches Yogesh Vishwakarma & Shashank Mokashi.
Deep gratitude to Pooja Dedhia & all parents, and well-wishers for making this 5 Days Chess Camp possible & a memorable one to remember!.

In todayโs world competence leads to success irrespective of the field of work be it chess, finance or for that matter even politics.
๐๐๐๐ฉ ๐๐จ ๐พ๐ค๐ข๐ฅ๐๐ฉ๐๐ฃ๐๐?
A simple google search gives us the following definition โhaving the necessary ability, knowledge, or skill to do something successfullyโ.
For relevance & simplicity in todayโs skill driven we redefine competence as โhaving the necessary knowledge and ability to perform a skill successfullyโ.
Like anything in life Competence in a skill isnโt achieved overnight but in phases, quicker for some but not without time & efforts.

Management trainer Martin M. Broadwell first described the phases of competence as "the four levels of teaching"
For simplicity we can call them the "four phases in learning any new skill" with each phase serving as an indicator for measuring our progress.
The modified image shared below defines each of the 4 phases in pyramid form starting from unconscious incompetence to unconscious competence.
