कोविड-१९ विषाणूचा प्रसार रोखण्याची जबाबदारी घरातील सर्व सदस्यांची आहे.

घरातून बाहेर पडताना घ्यावयाची काळजी-

- घरातून बाहेर पडताना नेहमी तोंडावर तीन पदरी / एन ९५ मास्क किंवा स्वच्छ धुतलेला रूमाल वा कपडा बांधावा.

- घरातून बाहेर पडण्यासाठी एक वेगळी चप्पल किंवा बूट ठेवावे.

- घराबाहेर किंवा बाजारात इतर व्यक्ती पासून किमान ६ फूटाचे अंतर राखावे.

- घरातून बाहेर पडण्यापूर्वी घरात आवश्यकता असलेल्या सर्व वस्तुंची यादी करावी, जेणेकरून घराबाहेर वारंवार पडण्याची आवश्यकता भासणार नाही. तसेच सोबत सामानासाठी पिशवी बाळगावी.

- घराबाहेर पडल्यानंतर बाहेरील कुठल्याही वस्तूस किंवा पृष्ठभागास गरज नसताना हात लावणे टाळावे.

- घराबाहेर पडताना नेहमी सोबत सॅनिटायझर ठेवावे, जर एखाद्या संशयीत वस्तू किंवा पृष्ठभागास स्पर्ष झाल्यास त्वरीत सॅनिटायझर हातावर घेऊन ३० सेकंद हात चोळावे.

- डोळे, नाक, तोंडास हात लावणे टाळावे.

- बाजारात शक्य असेल तेथे डिजीटल पेमेंट द्वारे व्यवहार करावे. रोख रक्कम किंवा कागदी नोटांचा शक्यतो वापर टाळावा. असे शक्य नसल्यास शक्यतोवर सुटे पैसे न स्विकारता संपूर्ण रक्कमेची खरेदी करावी. चलनी नोटांच्या माध्यमातून कोरोना विषाणूंचा संसर्ग होऊ शकतो त्यामुळे खबरदारी घेणे गरजेचे आहे.

- चलनी नोटा स्विकारल्यास त्या हातातच बाळगाव्या, घरी गेल्यावर घरातील इतर सदस्यांकडून त्यावर गरम इस्त्री फिरवून त्यांचे निर्जंतुकीकरण करावे.

- चलनी नाणे सॅनिटायझर किंवा साबणाच्या पाण्याने धुऊन स्वच्छ करता येतील.

सार्वजनिक लिफ्टचा वापर-

-सार्वजनिक लिफ्टचा वापर शक्यतो टाळावा. व पायऱ्यांचा वापर करावा. पायऱ्या चढताना हॅन्ड ग्रिलला किंवा भिंतीस स्पर्श करणे टाळावे.

- लिफ्टचा वापर करत असल्यास, लिफ्टच्या बटनांना स्पर्ष करणे टाळावे, सोबत काही कागदाचे तूकडे बाळगावे व त्याने लिफ्टचे बटन दाबावे. तसेच ते कागदाचे तुकडे त्वरीत डस्टबीन मध्ये टाकावे.

- इतर व्यक्ती पासून ६ फूट अंतर बाळगणे आवश्यक असल्याने, शक्यतो एका वेळी एका व्यक्तीनेच लिफ्टचा वापर करावा.

बाहेरून घरात प्रवेश करताना घ्यावयाची काळजी-

- घराबाहेरच कंपाऊंड मध्ये चप्पल किंवा बूट काढावा, त्यानंतर साबणाच्या पाण्याने पाय स्वच्छ धुवावे. तसेच बाहेरील चप्पल डिटर्जंटच्या पाण्याने स्वच्छ धुवावी.

- घराच्या दारावर स्पर्श करू नये, घरातील सदस्यांना दार उघडायला सांगावे.

- बाहेरून आणलेले सामान निश्चित केलेल्या जागी, एखाद्या टेबलावर किंवा कागदी खोक्यात ठेवावे.

- वाॅशरूम मध्ये जाऊन, अंगावरील कपडे डिटर्जंटच्या पाण्यात भिजवून ठेवावे. नंतर साबणाने हात ,पाय व तोंड किमान २० सेकंदापर्यत घासून धुवावे.

बाहेरील व्यक्तींना घरात प्रवेश -

- जर बाहेरील कोण्या व्यक्तीस जसे की प्लंबर, इलेक्ट्रिशियन, मेकानीक इ. घरात प्रवेश करण्याआधी ते आजारी नसल्याची खात्री करून घ्यावी, तसेच सॅनिटायझरने हात स्वच्छ करून त्यांच्याकडून संबंधित काम करून घ्यावे व त्यांचा स्पर्श घरात इतरत्र कुठेही होणार नाही याची दक्षता घ्यावी. काम झाल्यावर त्या भागाचे निर्जंतुकीकरण करावे.

घरातील निर्जंतुकीकरण-

- घरातील फरशी दररोज सकाळी २ % डिटर्जंट सोलुशन, किंवा ०.२ % लायझाॅल किंवा ३ % डेटाॅल, सॅवलाॅन सोलुशनने टाकून पुसून घ्यावी.

- स्वंयपाकघरातील भांडी नेहमीप्रमाणे भांड्याच्या साबनाने घासावेत.

कपड्यांची स्वच्छता -

- बाहेरुन आल्यानंतर कपडे लगेच डिटर्जंट सोलुशन मध्ये टाकून धुवून घ्यावेत.

- नेहमी वापरात येणारे कपडे , रूमाल, टाॅवेल नियमित धुवून घ्यावेत.

हातांची स्वच्छता-

- साबण किंवा हॅन्डवाश किमान २० सेकंद, हाताच्या बोटावर, बोटांच्या मध्ये, तळव्यावर, मनगटावर चोळून पाण्याने स्वच्छ धुऊन घ्यावीत.

- दुधाची पिशवी साबण किंवा डिटर्जंट सोलुशन ने धुवून घ्यावी.

- जर तुम्ही दुधवाल्याकडून दूध घेत असाल, तर दूध घेताना अंतर राखा, व लगेच दूध उकळून घ्यावे.

- खुले असलेले खाद्यपदार्थ ज्यांना धुवून घेणे शक्य नाही, ते किमान ७२ तास न वापरता निश्र्चित अशा एका जागी ठेवावे.

- बाहेरील डेअरी पदार्थ, गोड पदार्थ घेणे टाळवे.

- बाहेरुन आणलेल्या इतर वस्तूही किमान ७२ तास न वापरता ठेवाव्यात.



-- तुम्हाला जर सर्दि, ताप, खोकला किंवा इन्फ्लूयन्झा सारखी लक्षणे असल्यास डॉक्टरांचा सल्ला घ्यावा तसेच घरात असताना देखील मास्क वापरावा, अशी लक्षणे नसल्यास घरात मास्क वापरण्याची गरज नाही.

- तुम्हाला किंवा घरातील व्यक्तीस मधूमेह, उच्च रक्तदाब,किंवा इतर आजार असल्यास वा वृद्धांनी शक्यतो बाहेर पडणे टाळावे.

रोगप्रतिकारक शक्ती वाढवण्यासाठी -

- रोगप्रतिकारक शक्ती वाढवण्यासाठी तुळसी, दालचिनी, काळिमिरी, सुंठ, पुदिना, लिंबू टाकुन चहा किंवा काढा घ्यावा.

- आवळा ज्यूस, ग्रीन टी, हळदी दुध, लिंबू सरबत घ्यावे.

- दररोज सकाळी किमान अर्धा तास योगासने, प्राणायाम किंवा ध्यानसाधना करावी.

- नकारात्मक विचारापासून दूर रहा. सकारात्मक विचार करा.

मानसिकच नव्हे तर शारीरिक आरोग्या करिता मुबलक झोप अत्यंत महत्त्वाची असते. परंतु दैनंदिन ताणतणाव बऱ्याचदा आपली झोप अस्वस्थ करण्यास कारणीभूत ठरतो. दैनंदिन आयुष्यामध्ये याचा अनुभव आपण सर्वांनीच कधी ना कधी घेतला आहे. कोरोना विषाणू ची महामारी आणि लॉक डाऊन च्या ह्या अभूतपूर्व सद्यस्थितीमध्ये अशा ताणतणावामध्ये आणखीच भर पडली आहे. निरनिराळ्या सोशल मीडिया वरील पोस्ट्सचा भडिमार, 24 तास चालणाऱ्या बातम्या, स्वतःच्या तसेच परिवाराच्या आरोग्याची चिंता, ढासळती अर्थव्यवस्था आणि लॉक-डाऊन मुळे विस्कटलेले दैनंदिन वेळापत्रक अशा कारणांमुळे हा ताणतणाव शिगेला पोहोचला आहे. आणि त्याबरोबरच झोप न लागणे, वारंवार जाग येणे आणि लागली, तरीही अस्वस्थ झोप येणे, या झोपेच्या त्रासांमध्ये भर पडली आहे. कोरोनाच नव्हे तर इतर मानसिक आणि शारीरिक व्याधिंची तीव्रता देखील वाढली आहे. कुठलीही औषधे न घेता, "निद्रा स्वास्थ्य" म्हणजेच स्लिप हाइजीन (Sleep Hygiene) च्या तंत्रांचा उपयोग करून आरोग्यदायक स्वस्थ झोप कशी घ्यावी ह्याबद्दल सदर लेख:

झोपेचे वेळापत्रक कायम ठेवा: नैसर्गिक नियमाप्रमाणे सायंकाळी सातच्या सुमारास अंधार पडायला सुरुवात होते, आणि पहाटे चार ते पाच नंतर उजेड पडायला लागतो. आपल्या मेंदूमधील झोपेचे जैविक घड्याळ या वेळापत्रकाला जोडून बनले आहे. परंतु उत्पादकतेला सर्वश्रेष्ठ स्थानी ठेवणाऱ्या या युगामध्ये कृत्रिम प्रकाशाच्या अति-वापरामुळे हे नैसर्गिक वेळापत्रक आणि आपल्या मेंदूतील जैविक घड्याळ यांचा तारतम्य राहत नाही. झोपेची तसेच उठायची वेळ निश्चित केल्याने आपली झोप आपोआपच लयबद्ध पद्धतीने वेळेवर येईल आणि आपल्या आरोग्यास लाभदायक ठरेल.
झोप आल्यासच बिछान्याकडे जा: झोप येत नसल्यास बिछान्यावर लोळत राहणे आणि कुस बदलत राहणे हे झोपेला आणखीच अस्वस्थ करणारे असतात. त्यामुळे थकवा जाणवत असल्यास आणि झोप येत असल्यासच बिछान्यावर पडणे उत्तम. तसेच, झोप येत नसल्यास घड्याळाकडे वारंवार बघत राहणेही टाळा.

वीस मिनिटे किंवा अधिक वेळा नंतरही झोप न आल्यास टीव्ही, मोबाईल किंवा लॅपटॉप चा उपयोग टाळा. त्याऐवजी बिछान्यावर उठून कुठलीही आरामदायक किंवा कंटाळवाणी क्रिया करा. संथ संगीत ऐकणे, मेडिटेशन, किंवा एखादे पुस्तक वाचणे अशावेळी चांगले. जोरात संगीत ऐकणे, त्रासदायक आठवणींना उगाळून उगीच रवंथ करत राहणे किंवा उत्तेजक पुस्तक किंवा बातम्या वाचणे टाळा.

वाईट सवयी बदला: तंबाखू, सिगरेट तसेच कॉफी, चहा आणि caffeine असलेले कोल्ड्रिंक्स मेंदूसाठी उत्तेजक पदार्थ ठरतात. तसेच बऱ्याचदा झोप लागण्यासाठी आणि रिलॅक्स होण्यासाठी अनेकजण मद्यपेयांचा वापर करतात. जरी सुरुवातीला झोप लागण्या मध्ये याने मदत होत असेल, तरीही दीर्घ काळामध्ये दारू झोपेला प्रचंड प्रमाणात हानिकारक असते. तरी झोपण्याच्या कमीत कमी चार ते सहा तास अगोदर पासून ह्या सगळ्या गोष्टी वगळा.

बिछाना फक्त झोपण्यासाठी आहे हे वळण मेंदूला द्या: आपला मेंदू हा एक अत्यंत विकसित अवयव असला तरीही ठराविक गोष्टी त्याला शिकवणे आणि त्याला चांगल्या सवयी लावून त्यांची जोपासना करणे अत्यंत महत्त्वाचे आहे. बऱ्याचदा बिछाण्याचा उपयोग फक्त झोपेसाठी न होता, टीव्ही बघणे, मोबाईल चा उपयोग करणे, जेवण करणे, वाचणे, शरीरसंबंध ठेवणे, नोकरी आणि घरगुती कामांशी संबंधित निरनिराळ्या क्रियांसाठी होतो. त्यामुळे मन बिछान्याला झोपेच्या क्रीयेशी संलग्न करू शकत नाही. केवळ झोपेच्या वेळी बिछाण्याचा उपयोग केल्याने आपले मन बिछान्याला झोपेशी संलग्न करू लागेल आणि योग्य वेळी झोप येण्यास मदत होईल.
दिवसाची झोप : रात्रीच्या झोपेचा महाशत्रू! दिवसाची झोप टाळल्याने रात्री थकवा येऊन चांगली झोप लागण्यास मदत होते. जर दिवसाची झोप टाळताच येत नसेल तर ती अर्धा ते एक तासाहून कमीच ठेवा आणि दुपारी 3 च्या नंतर अशी झोप टाळा.

झोपेची तयारी (sleep rituals): नियमितपणे झोपायच्या अर्ध्या तासा आधी हात-पाय हलक्या पद्धतीने ताणणे, प्राणायाम करणे, ग्रीन टी घेणे ह्यामुळे बऱ्याचशा लोकांमध्ये झोपेस मदत करत असल्याचे जाणवून आले आहे.
संध्याकाळी गरम पाण्याने आंघोळ: झोपेच्या एक ते दोन तासाआधी गरम पाण्याने अंघोळ करा. यामुळे शरीराचे तापमान त्वरित वाढते, आणि त्यानंतर हळूहळू कमी होऊ लागते. कमी होणाऱ्या तापमानामुळे झोप येण्यास मदत होते.

झोपेची डायरी: आपल्याला प्रत्यक्षात झोप व्यवस्थित लागते की नाही, आणि ती किती वेळ लागते, यासाठी झोपायला जायचा आणि झोपेतून उठायची वेळ एका डायरीत नोंद करून ठेवा. तरीही ही गोष्ट एका मर्यादेपर्यंतच बरी. एक ते दोन आठवडे डायरीमध्ये नोंदी केल्यानंतर दोन महिन्यानंतरच पुन्हा नोंद करून झोपेच्या वेळापत्रकामध्ये किती फरक पडला आहे ते बघा. झोप येण्यासाठी आपण वापरलेल्या निरनिराळ्या युक्तीं मुळे किती फायदा झाला हे बघण्यासाठीही या डायरीचा उपयोग होईल.

व्यायाम: कधी, कसा आणि किती: नियमित व्यायामाने झोपेची गुणवत्ता वाढते. तरीही झोपेच्या चार तासाच्या आधी व्यायाम न केलेलाच बरा. मुख्यत्वे संध्याकाळी चार वाजे नंतर जास्त तणावपूर्ण व्यायाम करू नये. कुठलाही व्यायामाचा स्तर हळूहळू वाढवत न्यावा. रात्रीच्या उत्तम झोपेसाठी आणि सकाळी ताजेतवाने वाटण्यासाठी सकाळी उठून रपेट मारणे अतिउत्तम.

संतुलित आहार: आपला आहार निरनिराळ्या पौष्टिक घटकांनी संतुलित ठेवा. तसेच आहाराची वेळ निश्चित ठेवा. रात्री भरपेट आहार घेऊ नका. झोपेच्या अर्ध्या तासाचा आधी गरम दूध घेणे चांगले. दुधामधील tryptophan हे नैसर्गिक केमिकल झोप लागण्यास मदत करते.
दिवसांच्या क्रिया निश्चित ठेवा: झोप न झाल्यास दिवसाचे कार्यक्रम न करता आराम करणे किंवा झोप घेण्याची इच्छा होणे स्वाभाविक आहे. तरिही असे केल्यास रात्रीची झोप येणे जास्त त्रासदायक होऊ शकते. त्यामुळे थकलेले असतानाही ही कमी गतीने का होईना आपले काम चालूच ठेवा.

झोप लागण्यासाठी वातावरण निर्मिती: झोपेच्या वेळी आधी आपला बिछाना आणि बेडरूम शांत आणि आरामदायक ठेवा. झोपे पासून चित्त विचलीत करणाऱ्या गोष्टींना ह्या वातावरणापासून दूरच ठेवा. चादर, ब्लॅंकेट, पंखा, कुलर, ए.सी. इत्यादींचा उपयोग करून आरामदायक तापमान ठेवा. प्रकाशाचा त्रास होत असल्यास पडदे, eye mask किंवा साधा रुमाल, आणि आवाजाचा त्रास होत असल्यास ear buds यांचा वापर करा.
निद्रा शास्त्राच्या ह्या युक्तीचा प्रयोग करून किती फायदा होतो हे जरूर कळवा. मानसिक आरोग्य आणि शारीरिक आरोग्य दोन्हीही जपणे सध्याच्या बिकट परिस्थितीमध्ये अति महत्वाचे आहे. झोप न लागणे किंवा झोप चांगली न लागणे मानसिक रोगाचे लक्षण असू शकते. तेव्हा, आपल्या मानसोपचार तज्ञांचा सल्ला जरूर घ्या. आपले संपूर्ण मानसिक आणि शारीरिक स्वास्थ्य, हाच आमचा प्रयत्न!

Ingredients-
1. Dried ashwagandha root powder - 1 tsp.
2. Honey - 1/2 tsp or to taste.
3. Water - 1 1/2 cup.

Preparation Method-
1. Boil one and half cup of water.
2. Add one teaspoon of dried ashwagandha root powder.
3. Cover the boiling water a lid and turn the heat down.
4. Let the water simmer for 10 to 15 minutes.
5. Remove the water from heat and allow it to cool.
6. Using a strainer, gently pour the water into a glass jar or cup.
7. As ashwagandha roots has an earthly and slightly bitter flavor to make it more palatable you can consume this tea with honey, cardamom, and butter milk, you can also add turmeric, cinnamon or other sweeteners( but its optional).
8. Enjoy your cup of Ashwagandha tea.

Who should avoid consuming Ashwagandha tea –

Ashwagandha is a safe supplement for most people, though Person with following medical conditions should avoid or consume ashwagandha tea with caution or in consultation with doctor.

Step 4 - Cook all these ingredients on medium heat for about 10 to 15 minutes or until the decoction is reduced to half.
Step 5 - Strain the mixture in a glass and add 1/2 teaspoon of honey.
