With all your support, motivation & blessings, we successfully distributed 50 ration kits today morning in Chinchoti village. It was a tough task to operate in a chaotic crowd. But we managed it successfully as a team. A great learning experience for upcoming rounds for sure.

Dear friends,

I am sure many of you do wish to help in the current situation and are taken aback by possible strict police action. But here is a good news. We made another trip on Western Express Highway today till Virar. The Police Force is super cooperative and is allowing us to distribute food packages to the needy.

There are two major aspects in this.
1. Migrant workers traveling to other states
2. Working/Labour class, who doesn't have anything to eat.

1. As the Police has eased down the curfew, the migrants are being allowed to travel via vehicles or on foot. It is best you give them dry or ready to eat or long lasting food as they don't have cooking provisions. This can include biscuits, peanuts, jaggery, dry fruits, thepla, chivda-farsaan, etc. It is best to provide items that stay unaffected by heat.

2. It is for the working/labour class you can provide ration packets, commonly consisting of rice, daal, potatoes, onions, masala, oil, etc. You can connect with local police station, NGOs or any political party's branch to know their location and headcount within your locality. You can also go in the outskirts of Mumbai and you will find tribals and villagers on the highway.

It is my earnest request to everyone who can possibly drive out and deliver whatever you can and in whichever capacity, please do so. This effort is going to take long and would require multiple trips on multiple occasions. There is no right time to do this than now.

Lastly, let us humbly not take any higher moral grounds while doing this. Let us just do this for ourselves to get a selfish, guilt free sleep of satisfaction.
