खाजगी स्कुलो की फीस वृद्धि के खिलाफ नागपूर मे 26.05.2019 को जन - पालक आंदोलन

प्रायवेट स्कूलो की मनमानी नाही चलेगी - नही चलेगी।

आज खाजगी प्रायवेट स्कुलो में मनमानी फीस वृद्धि ,बस के फीस ,किताबे,बस्ते यूनिफॉर्म स्कूल से ही लेना अनिवार्य है उसके भी दाम मार्केट से मंहंगे , इस सब के विरोध में आज सविधान रिजर्व बैंक चौक, नागपूर पर विभिनं स्कुलो के पालको द्वारा विरोध प्रदर्शन किया गया । इस अवसर पर मानवाधिकार के राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष श्री विवेकजी मेढ़ी ,नागपुर शहर महासचिव श्री अविनाश घुलघुले,आयटी सेल नागपुर शहर अध्यक्ष श्री प्रसाद घाटेेकर, श्री योगेशजी पाथरे - पालक समिती उपाध्यक्ष, विजयकुमार देवगड़े व अन्य पालक उपस्तिथ थे |

मोदी फॅक्टर तर आहेच... भाजपचे २३ खासदार ......पण ह्या माणसाची मेहनत दुर्लक्षित करून चालणार नाही...गेल्या ५ वर्षात काय काय नसेल सहन केले..शिवसेनेने पाच वर्षे प्रत्येक दिवस केलेला विरोध ,राजीनामे द्यायची केलेली भाषा.
स्वतःच्या जातीवरून लोकांचे टोमणे, कित्येक आंदोलन, कितीतरी आरोप, स्वतःच्या शरीरयष्टी वरून होणारे विनोद, एवढे काय तर लोकांची मजल त्यांच्या पत्नी वर विनोद करण्यापर्यंत गेली...
तरीही हा माणूस झुकला नाही...आणि कधी कर्तव्याला मुकला नाही..

Thought for the Day: Smriti Irani - A lesson in long term Investing, and Business Strategy*

Yes... you read it right...a lesson in long term investing. Let me elaborate in a few words.

Rahul Gandhi won from Amethi in 2009 elections with a margin of over 3.6 lakh votes. Not the biggest margin by any candidate, but impressive nevertheless. In fact, Amethi has been a Congress stronghold, breached only twice before today, in 5 decades. Even in their worst phase, Congress counted on Amethi being in the bag.

Someone forgot to mention this to BJP and Smriti Irani though. A spunky Smriti Irani took on the mighty challenge of trying to defeat Rahul Gandhi from Amethi in 2014, and despite a stiff resistance, predictably lost. But she narrowed Rahul's victory margin to 1.6 lakhs from 3.6, arguably a very good show. Not that Congress was perturbed.

*What does investing have to do with all this, you ask...*

Well....in my view:

1. Long Term Vision*: Winning Amethi in 2014 was never a part of the game plan, though it would have been a fantastic outcome. BJP, and Smriti herself, were always building their credentials for 2019. The investment bet was a long term one, with the first payoff not less than 5 years away.

2. Confidence and Dedication: A lot of people laughed at Smriti at the time, for believing she could defeat Rahul from Amethi, fewer people praised her effort and an even smaller number was actually ready to believe she even had a chance at victory. But Smriti did not get fazed by 2014 results. She silently kept investing her time and energy and resources into Amethi, building a connect and bond with the people of that constituency.

3. Focus and Persistence: Between 2014 and 2019, Smriti visited Amethi more times than Rahul, spent more time with the people, undertook more than 100 development programs in the constituency, tweeted about and raised issues of Amethi more on social media than Rahul, and even persuaded Manohar Parrikar to adopt 2 villages (in 2015 and 2017)

4. Importance of Leadership and Mentoring: The top leadership at BJP identified Smriti as a potential leader to be developed for future and sacrificed her election prospects in 2014, choosing instead to focus on long term. Despite losing Amethi she continued to enjoy confidence and patronage of the party, and was inducted into the cabinet. Modi continued to mentor her and persist with her as a minister despite an average performance in the beginning. The right guidance and leadership can transform a promising small cap company into a strong mid cap and then large cap... tap the potential fully. Never be worried about getting results too soon.

5. Marketing and Communication, Consistency of Messaging: Smriti has always taken Gandhi family and Rahul head on, over the years builing herself into a champion for people of Amethi and also earning high profile visibility on everything she did. Smart companies choose their competitors wisely, the right competitor can elevate your own profile many fold.

6. Super long term view: Smriti is only 43, was less than 28 years old when she joined politics. Give her another 2 terms as MP and she's likely to emerge as one of the tallest leaders in BJP. How many of you would bet against this? :)
