Aaradhana

As we began the new year with Aaradhana, a session that immersed everyone in melodies, that transported everyone to a trance. The poetic anchoring by Baldeep captivated the lively audience, while the enchanting ambiance heightened the overall experience.

"Hari haratamam" by Ram ki on the eve or Makara Shankranti magically transported our minds to the spiritual ambiance of Shabarimalai. Baldeep's creative prowess shone brilliantly as he ingeniously crafted a parody infused with the essence of Ayodhya, captivating the audience. Dhruvee’s rendition of a bhajan on Krishna revealed her profound spiritual engagement. Nitesh’s Sukh ke Saab sathi ne Saab ko Mugdh kar diya. Nish*t made the audience sway to his melody Achyutam Keshavan and the special guest Savita‘s bhajan made us spellbound.

The event was held at the Ashraya prayer hall attended by the wonderful senior citizens who were enthralled, they actively participated, thoroughly relishing the musical experience.
What a great start to ISAI for the year 2024 with this a wonderful event 🙏🏼

This event was a captivating experience, with some melodies like Yaari hai imaan mera, parda hai, sar par topi, mehendi laga ke rakhna, Bole chudiyan, Chalte Chalte, that made it irresistible to stop people from clapping and break out dancing, it sent them to a blissful trance. The skillful anchoring by Nitesh kept the audience engaged, and Dhruvee added a poetic touch which was the cherry on the cake.
ISAI team made donations in kind to the Ashram inmates and also distributed Cakes, Chocolates and Biscuits to celebrate the New Year.
The musical event was a good conclusion, leaving everyone with positive vibes and cherished memories of the year 2023.

This event was a lively and enjoyable musical program packed with melodies on "Moon" or "Chandramala" for senior citizens. moments of merriment, and serene meditation.
The active engagement of the audience significantly enhanced the overall impact of the music, infusing it with an extra layer of joy and connection.
This was followed by the Haldi Kumkum ritual and sharing of some gifts and Puranpoli for the seniors.

This was a wonderful experience for me to conduct this session at
D Y Patil University for the teaching and non-teaching staff on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Dr D Y Patil University.

This was a memorable event joined by everyone for extraordinary evening to celebrate India's remarkable achievement - the successful landing of Chandrayaan 3 on the lunar surface, with "Celestial Harmonies" a Musical Extravaganza. We were immersed in the enchanting world of melodies inspired by the moon, based on "Chaand" to take you on a sonic journey.

Shoor Veer Ki Kahaniyan and Desh Bhakti Geet

This was a splendid session accentuated by the ambience of the prayer hall Ashraya. Some old numbers like Aye mere pyaare watan, Aisa Desh hai mera, and Tamil Bharatiyaar song Bharata Samudaayam by my mother topped it all. Deepa and Manoj's debut was welcomed by the others.

The Satvani focused on the story of Ahilyabai Holkar and Mr Suresh one of the guests also spoke about meaning of the Tamil song Aduvomein a song that was a futuristic visionary of the Poet Bharatiyaar

Moods of Monsoon

This session was held on the 23rd July, it was good to meet many new people and hear them sing. The invocatory song Sankara Naada shareera set the tone for the melodic exhilaration for the evening.

We enjoyed moods of monsoon with old numbers like Dum Dum digha, Rim jim gire sawan ,sawan ka mahina and the cloudy numbers like o Sajna, Megha chaayein and naughty numbers ab ke sajan mein and Ek ladki bhigi bhaagisi to go with monsoon snacks - Bhajji, jalebi and chaai. Some semi classical numbers like Nidiya se jagi bahar, Man Mandira and Garjat barsat sawan aayo re added to the symphony of Raga Malhaar lifted the moods through the misty raindrops dancing on the windows to a delightful harmony.

Besides this everyone participated in the Naada Yoga wellness techniques and mentioned that it was very relaxing.

ISAI Melodies for Wellness completed one year!
This session was to celebrate the first anniversary since we all began this journey with ISAI, was themed on Sham-E-Gazal and was held at +Vibes, CBD Belapur.

Besides family, there were some guests who were invited to attend the session- Janak ji and Sandeep Kulkarni and Sampada, all were accomplished singers who graced the occasion and also sang Gazals.

Janakji's Gazal's Garaj Baras Pyasi set the mood for the evening that continued with other numbers like Karoge Yaad, Kabhi kisi ko mokammal, Aaj jaane ki zid na karo.

Highlights of the year AV was screened and the all the events were touched upon followed by a cake cutting of a cake specially designed by Anagha Ravi with ISAI logo design.

Dhun Taal Sawari Ke was an event specifically catered for the Children at the St Jude's hospital being treated for cancer. This effort was to give them the experience of Music therapy for pain relief along with some songs based on the rhythm of Horse beats. Some of the songs rendered were "Lakdi ke kathi", "Zara Hole Hole", "Piya Piya", "yuhin Chala Chal Rahi". The children were thrilled to play rhythm instruments to the Dhol Tasha beats! Oranges and apples were distributed on behalf of the ISAI team.

Jeevan Dhara

This event was themed on "The journey of Life", with songs to celebrate life, with a mix of some popular and rare numbers like Jindgi ke safar mein guzar jate jo makam, Mera jeevan kora kagaz by Aalok, Jab Tak Maine Samjha Jeevan Kya Hai, Oh Re Taal Mile Nadi Ke Jal Mein by Baldeep, Kaisi paheli zindagani, Mai rahu ya na rahu by Ranjini, Jeevanat hi ghadi ashich rahu de (Marathi), Do naina aur ek kahani by Rajasee, Zindagi ka safar hai yeh kaisa safar- Ramakrishnan, Is Jeevan ki yahi hai kahani,
Sapne suhane ladakpan ke by Viji were sung. This event was held at the Ashraya Yoga Hall.
