FC MIG were the surprise package of the season making their way to the final of the Shield, where they eventually lost to Crossfire FC . MIG started the season slowly but their second half of the season performances ensured they finished in the top 4 while clearly showing that going forward they are a team to be reckoned with. They were then only Delhi representative in the finals - the other 3 teams were from Gurgaon. At this rate, they won’t be waiting too long before they claim their first piece of silverware in TAL.

FC MIG, consisting a group of students and working professionals who have been playing together since quite a time are a part of Vicky Transform Super 5s League, trying to convert their team chemistry to victory. Playing an offensive '1-1-2-1' formation, Raghav the Super Striker will look to provide his team the lead everytime he steps on the pitch, with the versatile Ahuja at defense. Hrithik and Parag are definately the X Factor of the team, providing key assists and also converting them into goals, with Chinmay at the Goal Post it would be a real challenge for any opponent to beat the one of the finest keepers in the team! The key players Prankush, Akshat and Ishaan bring their own charm to the field with their unique style of play! . FC MIG will leave no stone unturned in proving their mettle and making a mark on the league.

IOA doesn't want to send the Football team citing the reason, "Football team does not stand a chance of winning a medal". We would like to ask :
1. Did gold medals start to rain in Indian sports overnight?
2. How are our footballers suppose to get experience?

Teams we're grouped with in the biggest tournament we've played in recent years the which is scheduled for Jan 2019 are UAE, Thailand & Bahrain & they'll be playing in the Asian games. And its important that our youngsters play too to get the experience.

Govt of India has Classified Football as a priority sports and denying them the opportunity to play in Asian Games will be a massive hit on our preparations & morale of the players. Give them a chance to prove their worth, give them a chance they deserve.
