Sports activity - Passing the ball (06.12.23)
The sports activity, "Passing the Ball" was conducted on December 6, 2023. The activity was indeed a resounding success, bringing joy and excitement to young participants of Pre-Primary. The activity aimed to promote physical activity, teamwork, and sportsmanship among children.
In November, the Tech Club at Bal Bharati Public School, Pusa Road Campus, organised the activity 'Type a Balloon', aimed at boosting typing accuracy in students. They engaged in a friendly typing challenge at individual desktops, elevating proficiency and fostering teamwork.
To foster holistic growth, real-life experiences are vital. Students of classes II and III explored the fascinating world of insects, discovering their significance through the activity, 'Ravishing Garden' under the aegis of the club, ’Hamaari Bagiya-Young Green Warriors’ on 23.11.23. The activity aimed at nurturing creativity, allowing students to showcase their artistic talents by crafting garden sticks to beautify the school garden and appreciate the wonders of nature. They learned about the vital role insects play in nature.
Transitioning into a conscious and sustainable lifestyle is achievable through simple changes. The activity ’Dig into the Lunch Box' organized by the 'Aware Learners Club,' on 23.11.23 empowered students to adopt sustainable practices in life encouraging them for individual contributions towards environmental conservation. They learnt eco-friendly practices which can be used while packing a lunch box for school. They o served their own lunch boxes and actively engaged in self-reflection & discussion.
On November 20, 2023, BBPS Pusa Road Campus organised the Annual Art Competition to encourage children explore their creative potential. The students of classes I,II and III expressed themselves passionately through themes - Diwali, My Dream Birthday Party, and India on the Moon respectively. Beyond showcasing artistic prowess, their artworks unveiled the limitless potential of the young minds fostering both artistic expression and a playful engagement of intelligence.

Young Performers of Pre-Primary classes were engaged in a captivating story dramatization activity, showcasing their creativity and communication skills. From animated characters to imaginative plots, the young minds brought stories to life, fostering teamwork and self-expression. The activity not only enhanced their theatrical abilities but also instilled a love for storytelling. The day was filled with fun and frolic.
Bal Bharati Public School, Pusa Road Campus, organised a Yoga Competition for the students of classes I, II and III on 5 October, 13 October and 27 October 2023 respectively. The activity aimed at promoting holistic development, providing a platform for students to showcase their yoga skills. The participants demonstrated strength, flexibility, and coordination through synchronized group asanas and individual performances. The activity was an impressive display of skills, fostering an atmosphere of encouragement and mutual support.
The Vernacular Club organised the activity 'अंक लेखन' for the students of Class III on 22.11.23. Dedicated to fostering linguistic diversity, the club provides a platform for students to connect with and appreciate various Indian languages. Engaging in the art of writing, our young talents crafted numbers 0-9 using diverse scripts exploring the richness of cultural diversity expressed through language.
The club, 'Explore Thy Country' organised the activity, 'Gujarat, the Jewel of Western India' for the students of classes II and IIII on 23.11.23. The endeavour provided a platform to the students allowing them to explore the vibrant tapestry of Gujarat's cultural heritage. Children crafted exquisite Rogan Art paintings, bringing our rich heritage to life.

The Montessori Department organised an activity on Drawing and Colouring Activity on the theme "My Favourite Cartoon Character" on November 28, 2023, to foster creativity, fine motor skills development, and self-expression, promoting self-confidence and self-expression in children.
Embracing the divine spirit of Gurpurab, a special morning assembly was organised for the students at BBPS Pusa Road Campus on November 23 2023. From thought-provoking discussions to a soulful enactment of 'Aar Nanak Paar Nanak,' the assembly resonated with the essence of Guru Nanak Dev ji’s teachings. Students were also engaged in vibrant activities, including an enlightening video screening and writing ‘Ek Omkar,’ enriching their understanding of spirituality and unity.

दिनांक 31 अक्टूबर 2023 को आयोजित की गई मोंटेसोरी प्री-प्राइमरी बच्चों के लिए हिंदी एक्सटेम्पोरे में, प्रत्येक बच्चे ने दिए गए दो विषयों की पर्चियों में से किसी एक पर्ची को उठाकर उसपर लिखित विषय पर अपने विचार बहुत ही उत्साह और आत्मविश्वास से अभिवक्यत किए। बच्चे इस गतिविधि से बहुत खुश थे।इस एक्सटेम्पोरे कार्यक्रम के माध्यम से, छात्रों की भाषा कौशलता और साहित्यिक दक्षता को बढ़ावा मिला और उनका आत्म-विश्वास भी मजबूत हुआ। इसके अलावा, उनकी सामूहिकता और सहयोग की भावना में भी सुधार आया। इस प्रकार, यह कार्यक्रम उनके सामाजिक और भाषा संवाद कौशल में सुधार करने में मददगार साबित हुआ।

STORY TELLING
In a quest to ignite the flames of creativity and storytelling prowess, an engaging workshop on Story Telling organized by NBT (National Book Trust) for the students of Class V was conducted on November 2,2023 in the school auditorium. Through a dynamic blend of storytelling, music, and interactive actions, the workshop aimed to enhance students' creative expression while simultaneously strengthening their language skills. The Resource Person Ms. Simi Srivastava shared stories accompanied by songs and actions to create an interactive and enjoyable learning environment.
Students developed a heightened ability to express their creativity through engaging storytelling; incorporating music, actions, and facial expressions. Our young learners gained insight into essential storytelling techniques, including the art of "showing" to create vivid mental images for readers. The workshop created a harmonious blend of creativity and education, leaving a lasting impact on participants.

The reading programme is an essential initiative aimed at fostering the love for reading among the young Bal Bharatians.
For the months of September-October, follow up activities based on the timeless classic ‘Jungle Book’ by Rudyard Kipling were conducted for the students of Classes IV and V.
The children read the book with great interest and were encouraged to explore their creative side by making colorful and vivid face masks depicting various characters like Mowgli, Baloo, Bagheera, Sher Khan etc. from the book and speak their famous dialogues in the class.
Our young readers also identified National Parks in India and marked them on a map. This allowed them to enhance their understanding and appreciate India's natural heritage.
The activities centered around "Jungle Book" were a resounding success, achieving the goal of combining fun with learning. Students not only explored their artistic talents but also deepened their understanding of nature conservation and wildlife.

Students of Class III explored the exciting world of augmented reality through the activity, ‘ARLOOPA’ conducted under the aegis of the Tech Club in the month of October at BBPS Pusa Road Campus. While exploring the ARLOOPA app, they uncovered the endless possibilities that AR technology offers. From witnessing interactive 3D models materialize in the real world to delving into the future of technology within the education sector, they harnessed the boundless creativity that AR can bring to life.
On 19.10.23, the ‘Sporty Champions' club at BBPS Pusa Road Campus highlighted the transformative influence of sports on students’ life. The activity 'Musical Relay’ conducted under the aegis of the club engaged the students from classes II and III in a fun-filled relay race which combined physical activity with music & rhythm. It aimed at fostering teamwork and enhancing cognitive skills in children. This activity successfully intertwined enjoyment and education, ensuring a holistic approach to students’ growth.

The Numero Mania club at BBPS Gangaram, Pusa Road Campus organised the activity ‘Weighty Affairs’ for classes II and III on October 19, 2023. The students were introduced to the concept of measurement of weight through the activity. Using household materials, they crafted a weighing balance and playfully compared the weight of different objects. The hands-on experience combined fun and education for a comprehensive understanding of the mathematical concept.

26.10.23 को दूसरी कक्षा के विद्यार्थियों के लिए कविता वाचन प्रतियोगिता - काव्यांचल का आयोजन किया गया। सभी प्रतियोगियों ने, नारी सशक्तिकरण, विषय पर सुंदर और रोचक कविताएँ प्रस्तुत की । अपनी कविताओं के माध्यम से बच्चों ने समाज में नारी की अहम भूमिका को दर्शाया।

The club, Hamaari Bagiya-Young Green Warriors conducted the activity ‘Leafy Motifs’ for the students of classes II and III on 20.10.23. The activity was a creative endeavour wherein students crafted intricate peacock designs using pressed leaves. They meticulously arranged and glued leaves to form the striking peacock's plumage and body. This hands-on experience allowed them to appreciate nature's beauty and practice fine motor skills.

Prioritizing mental health is as vital as physical health. On 19.10.23, the activity ‘Happy Mind, Happy Life’ was conducted under the aegis of the club, ’Aware Learners’. Through the activity the students recognised the significance of mental well-being and engaged themselves in stress-relief exercises such as deep breathing, reverse counting, and exercising with soft squeezy balls. Additionally, they learned to create stress relief balls through a teacher-led demonstration.
On October 19, 2023, the club, ‘Aao Haath Barhayein’ at BBPS, GR, Pusa Road Campus, organised the activity, 'NCC Adventure' for the students of classes II and III. Our young learners wholeheartedly embraced this event with enthusiasm and excitement. The activity empowered them with a sense of being young warriors, ready to take command of their lives by embracing the values and principles of NCC.

COMPASSIONATE CITIZENS
Go Sharpener in association with PETA organised a workshop for the students of Class V on the theme ‘Compassionate Citizens’ on October 30,2023. The NISHABD (Compassionate Citizen) workshop aimed to raise awareness and foster empathy towards animals by exploring their emotional lives, communication methods, and unique characteristics. The workshop highlighted the golden rule: "Treat others the way you want to be treated” and proposed solutions and actions to protect animals like, ‘‘say no to animal bullying, avoid littering in water and on streets, seek adult help when needed, raise awareness about animal feelings, advocate against animal testing, and discourage the use of animal products.’’
Through engaging discussions and interactive sessions, the workshop laid emphasis on challenges faced by animals, encourage responsible actions, and showcase positive examples of human-animal interactions.

INTER HOUSE VOCAL MUSIC COMPETITON
THEME – HARBINGERS OF HOPE AND HARMONY
The Primary Department, GR Campus organised an Inter House Vocal Music Competition on October 19, 2023.The theme for the event was ‘Harbingers of Hope and Harmony’. The programme commenced with lamp lighting ceremony to invoke the blessings of the almighty followed by a melodious rendition by the school choir. The judges, Ms. Archana Srivastva and Mr. Munish Shankar were cordially invited to assess the performances. Each house presented beautiful, thought - provoking melodies, relevant to the theme. Our budding singers sang soulful musical compositions evoking feelings of hope and harmony. Students dressed in colourful attires were lauded by the judges for their inspiring and enthusiastic performances.

The felicitation ceremony of International Value Education Olympiad was held on 5 November 2023 at ISKCON Auditorium, East of Kailash.
Atharva Keswani a student of class IX-G secured third position in the Olympiad in the category of class IX & X.
He was awarded a certificate and a bicycle by the Minister of Environment, Mr Bhupender Yadav and other dignitaries.
The project on bio-plastics submitted by Atharva Keswani, for the Olympiad, was also prominently displayed in the function.
Bal Bharati Public School's much-anticipated event, Technovanza 9.0, originally scheduled for November 17, has been postponed adhering to the guidelines set forth by the Department of Education (DoE) prioritizing the safety and well-being of all participants.
The rescheduled date for Technovanza 9.0 is now set for 29 November
2023, Wednesday.

MORNING ASSEMBLY
On October 18, 2023 , students of class VIII F presented their class assembly on two vibrant and informative topics Rashtriya Ekta Diwas and the festival of Dussehra, also known as Vijayadashami. The assembly was all about the vibrancy of colours and chanting of mantras. The event was a perfect blend of nationalism and national integration of culture and art. The winners across inter school events were applauded and appreciated for their achievements as well.
