Today 8th Annual convention of Indian Association of physics Teachers (RC1) has started with the efforts of Prof. V. P. Srivastava, President, IAPT . It will continue for two days (10 - 11 October).
The theme of annual convention is RETHINKING PHYSICS EDUCATION IN THE CONTEXT OF NATIONAL EDUCATION POLICY 2020
The chief guest of the program was Prof Rupamanjari Ghosh, vice chancellor, Shiv Nadar University
Welcome address was given by Dr. M. S. Bhandari, secretary, IAPT, Introduction of program was given by DR.S.K.Singhal Treasurer, IAPT.
Prof Ajoy Ghatak former prof.of physics, IIT, Delhi introduced the chief guest. In the program many eminent scientists and professors presented the talks.
Today Prof. K. P. Ramesh, IISc, Bangalore, Dr. Pratibha Jolly, former principal, Miranda House, Delhi University, Prof V. B. Bhatia, Delhi University, Prof. Rajaram Nityananda, former Director, NCRA, TIFR, Sh. R. Joshi, NCERT, Dr. Gagan Gupta, NCERT, sh N.K.Sehgal.sh H. K.
