We got a call from a guardian of a patient who was non-Covid, non-Critical had no need for any emergency medicine however needed our support to arrange an ambulance with 2 attendant our every supportive and enthusiastic Sanjeev, Rahul & a assistant are always on their toes to help our customers. This patient was brought from home to rehab center in Patna city. We are delighted to collaborate with Aniket Seva a social voluntary organizations and extend our support for the society & Savera, an integrated Rehabilitation Centre for addicts, Patna. Its quoted in Mahabharata Abhimanyu had landed alone to break the Chakravyuh, as he didn’t learn how to step out, it’s the same case with youth below 30 yrs in Bihar they get influenced towards drug addiction and fail to understand. This is the age to build their career to aspire and kick start their professional. When compared to the number of opioid dependents, drug seizures reported are just the tip of the iceberg, say those who treat addicts. After Punjab-Haryana in the country, most of the smack and drug consignments are being consumed by terrorist organizations in Bihar these days. In most of the districts of North Bihar, youth has come under the grip of smack these days. In most of the districts of Bihar and Jharkhand, the consignment of smack is going from West Bengal itself. Phool Kr Jha from Aniket seva shared with us that they treat 15 patients every month in their drug awareness campaign. Initially it begins with 10 days detoxification followed by one to one & group counselling. After successful completion of 1 month treatment each patient is followed up on every 15days for 2years to ensure their motivation is high and they are engaged with counsellors and doctors for any medical treatment.
