Life has its own ways to lead you to your destination. I think it is quite true in the case of this young authors from Bihar, Nehha S Daraad. Who can imagine that her decision to drop National Institute of Fashion Technology where she was perusing her graduation in fashion communication will lead her to become one of the youngest author from Bihar?

High on career, a regular small-town girl with big dreams to accomplish, a budding storyteller who has the spark for entrepreneurship, ex-fashion student who is now a Political Science graduate and one of the youngest published authors from Bihar, also a Madhubani painting artist with passion and determination to live life on her terms and make her dreams her reality—this is the story of Nehha S Daraad.

Nehha published her debut novel ‘Always Be MINE’ back in 2016 when she was merely 19 year old. “Writing is my passion and I love storytelling.” says Nehha. She has been working as a creative content writer as a freelancer since her high school days. Nehha has worked with many leading website and blogs like Femina, Thatscoop, Youthennews, Filmmakers, Vicinito and many more.

Apart from this, Nehha was published by Kalinga Creations in 2017, where she was a part of an anthology ‘Middle March’ in which her story ‘The Breaking Story’, which was based on female feticide and a plight of modern women was published and very well received and appreciated. In September 2018, she has been published in Crossroads, which has her three poems ‘My Way’, ‘Ray of Hope’ and ‘The Journey Continues’ in collection of poems from 41 artists from all over the places and the book is available globally.

Over the years, Nehha has tried to explore different ways of storytelling and urged to do something new by approaching the different mediums of storytelling and exploring novel, short stories and poems. Currently, she is working on her upcoming second novel which again is a work of fiction, and she has taken all her time to explore and discover the right story for her readers.

This girl doesn’t stop here, for everyone’s surprise Nejha is not merely and author and artist but she is an entrepreneur too. She was also the Co-founder of Campus Varta, which is India’s first Ed-tech media company until June 2019. She has also founder WordBUZZ—a content management and solution company.

“Go after what you are passionate about. No matter what the result is, don’t give up without trying. Make it happen for yourself. You are young, you are allowed to follow your dreams, commit mistake, learn from them and then try again until you turn your failure into success.” says Nehha. According to Nehha, it was never an easy decision be it dropping out NIFT or the decision to pursue writing as her career but once you make up your mind everything starts falling into place with every single step you take towards your ambition.

Isn’t amazing to have the courage to follow your passion admits all the doubts and insecurities but then where there is will, there is always a way. Nehha is following her dreams and pursuing her passion what you are waiting for?
