Pankhudi Foundation

I tried finding Indian organisations that are collecting funds to help our Brothers and Sisters and Sons and Daughters of Palestine. But I failed to find any. I contacted few friends but failed.

To see the current situation of palestine, you can see the Insta handle - "middleeasteye", "trtworld", "eye.on.palestine". Approx 21500 people including more than 50% women and children have died as a result of this brutal force. This is a war where innocent civilians are targetted. Its not raining there, its Missile-ing there.

Genuine international organisations like Humaniti, Muslimi, UNFPA, One Ummah are collecting funds for the same, and providing emergency aid like food, water, medicines, shelters etc to them. My intention is to transfer money to Humaniti/Muslimi. That requires international transaction enabled Credit/Debit card which charges the bank as well as some charge is involved in wiring the funds to them.

Individually I am donating some money from my pocket on behalf of my brother Shahzad Wakeel . And before I proceed further with the transfer, I was feeling that there will be few more like me, who would be interested in donating money (as a form of sadqah) for our brothers but are backing off because International transfer of funds is not happening that easily. I am volunteering to work on it and will bear the charges involved in the transfer of funds to the above mentioned organisation.

So forwarding this to the group/page for some exposure of intention and for crowdfunding.

This 17th November marks the 9th Death Anniversary of our dear Shahzad Bhai.

We will be remembering him in our own ways.

If you have testimonials or your individual experiences about him, request you to please share that with all of us.

I have tried many times that his entry is accepted by IITB for the prestigious alumnus award (posthumous entry), but that was never acknowledged by IITB. I don't apply there anymore.

I am very thankful to all of you who keep showering your love towards this beautiful soul.

Today was the last day he was among us.

Sleep heart against heart, so much so that you feel their breath, because there is nothing more beautiful than this.

Enjoy their childhood and their company, love them as if the world were going to end today because tomorrow they will have grown up and you will think that you lacked time to hug them.

Children are people too.

Is it just me, or do children always seem to be held to a higher standard than everyone else?

Think about it:

We yell at them when they can’t fall asleep and “bother us” with their frustration,
expect them to always remember their manners,
and when they’re having a grumpy day, we punish them, even after they apologize.

Can you imagine being punished because you woke up feeling “blah” and snapped at those closest to you?

Because if you're like me, you do that more often than you'd like to admit
and your apologies are met with empathy.

But children? They’re still punished, or “they’ll never learn.”

But children are people too.

They’re little humans who are learning,
and deserve respect.

If we want them to grow into confident, kind, grace-giving adults who know their worth, we need to stop,

shaming them for age-appropriate behaviors like tantrums and being impulsive,

minimizing their feelings,

punishing them for being human,

treating them unkindly,

and expecting perfection when we’re mistake-ridden, too.

Children are people too.

THEY’RE HUMAN.

So, let’s love and cherish them for the flawed people they are.

We believe that children are inherently good, and when children become cruel, we need to look in the mirror and be curious if that was modeled in the home. Maybe not towards them, but in the conversations caregivers have about others, how they treat their spouse, how siblings are treated, or how a parent even treats people at the grocery store.

Our children are always watching. Be the person who you want your child to become.

Pankhudi Foundation was super active when he was alive. He kept everyone so engaged and so happy with Pankhudi and its purpose that they all felt like a Parivaar.

Its very difficult indeed to become like him. He was a life force of Pankhudi.
