Dear Parents
As we begin this academic session again , few things I would have taken up personally with our dear children as well as our dear parents. since this seems a remote possibility,i decided to share here some of my thoughts on building good mental health for our dear children as well as our dear ones . As the child grows tall and distinguished year after year , we take immense pride in seeing our dreams taking shapes via our children. The more they perform well in terms of grades, numbers,excellent remarks and so on , our dreams also travel next level with no compromise or stopping .we take great pleasure in their laurels accolades and achievements.Teachers are also happy seeing things going right and become a part of the ongoing journey. At times they feel something is amiss while handling a quiet or a very aggressive child . But things still move on after some counselling or a bit of scolding .Teachers are careful as they do not want to utter a word which is forbidden by some standards , to the extent of overlooking some serious future happenings. Here I feel we have really lost our guru shishya parampara as the guru is scared to adopt any corrective measures as it may spell trouble and frankly no one likes additional troubles in this already stressful world . It’s a wake up call to each and everyone. We all need to be more sensitive towards our precious ones . Grades are important beyond doubt but their mental health and happiness are of utmost value .right from the very beginning, bonding is must in every relationship. Please understand well your child, try to see what is written in between the lines. Try to relate with their minds and hearts ,try to hear their unspoken words and try to smell if something is amiss. Please strike a conversation and become a patient listener . Feel free to discuss just anything under the sun and seek help with teachers and other supports if need be.Our vatsalya family will stand strong with each one of you and make sure that you are never left alone . ...let’s all pledge to make a difference and bring positivity everywhere.
