Which acquisition is more beneficial for a startup? Bolt-On or Tuck-in?

A similarity between both is-- the small company is acquired in both cases.
But, the prime differentiator is Brand Identity. In a Bolt-on acquisition, the acquirer retains the acquired company identity. This stands contrary to a tuck-in acquisition where the acquirer disposes the acquiree identity and absorbs the company in its own division.
