This was indeed a great achievement for a small & geographically diversified Raigad branch!!

With kind support of Dr C K More (Taluka Medical Officer) organised the health talk and interactive session on ‘Importance of Breast Feeding’ for Medical Officers, ANMs, MPWs, Aaganwadi Sevikas, Asha Workers, ICDS workers and officials of all PHCs of Karjat taluka
on 04/08/2017 at Royal Gardens, Karjat
From 2.15 pm to 5.15 pm
The response was overwhelming with the attendance of 200 plus.

Raigad IAP Panvel branch conducted a CME for Gynecologist & Pediatrician on the topic of ‘Importance of Breast Feeding & Human Milk Banking’ on the occasion of ongoing World Breast feeding week!!
Speakers were the Internationally acclaimed speaker par excellence Dr Mahesh Mohite & The ever enthusiastic & Rockstar Pediatrician Dr Jay Bhandarkar!!
Attended & well appreciated by nearly 40 Pediatric & Gynaec People !!

We were lucky to be around for the Birthday Celebration of the Legendary Big Boss of Pediatrics , Dr Mahesh Mohite Sir !! Celebrated with much fanfare by the Panvel Pediatricians which incidentally coincided with the inauguration of Breast Feeding Week Program by Raigad IAP!!

Launch of World Breast Feeding Week program by IAP Raigad under the able guidance of Dr Abasaheb Patankar was started with informative lecture by the Internationally acclaimed faculty speaker, Dr Mahesh Mohite Sir for Parents & Nursing staff at Sai Child Care center Panvel !!
The response was tremendous!!👍
Panvel Pediatricians… Dr Jaykumar Bhandarkar Sir, Dr Vinit Tambe Sir, Dr Ashok Patil Sir, Dr Vikas Gandal Sir, Dr Prasanna Bansode Sir, Dr Dhananjay Rajput Sir, Dr Nidhi Verrma Ma’am, Dr Sonali Shewale & Dr Asma Mujawar made their presence felt for this event!!

Lecture delivered by the eminent Pediatrician & world class speaker, Dr Mahesh Mohite in Marathi with a power point presentation in Marathi (courtesy Dr Kailash Mungewar -Shrivardhan ) too, so that it was well understood & well appreciated by the audience!!
Dr Lohare, CMO Rural Hospital Panvel was the guest of honor!!
Queries were answered by Dr Mohite sir as well as Dr Jaykumar Bhandarkar Sir, Dr Ashok Patil Sir & Dr Vinit Tambe Sir !!

The most energetic & efficient secretary of Raigad IAP Dr Wankhede sir quoted.
Dr Kejriwal, Dr Gosavi & Dr. Vinit Tambe were present.
ORS usage, preparation, prevention of Diarrhoea, Public education, Awareness program, open ground defecation, handwash etc were discussed.
All press reporters agreed to give full 7 days coverage for ORS Week.

Dr Rajendra Chandorkar Sir quoted : Inauguration of ORS Week by IAP Alibag Wing.
We distributed ORS information leaflets to GPs.
Dr Dhamankar sir spoke on importance of ORS in dehydration. Dr. Vinit Tambe Sir shared his thoughts regarding various activities of IAP Raigad including ORS & BF weeks & supportive treatment of GE.
Dr Vinayak, Vaibhav & Dr Aditya made their appearance with good wishes to the ongoing ORS & BF weeks.

Successful Press conference held today at Dr Mohite Sir's hospital today. The pediatric legend Dr Mohite sir briefed the reporters on the ongoing activities on mega scale this year .....motto... Just to spread maximum awareness amongst general people about the rational benefits of ORS as well as benefits of Breast feeding & clearing some myths related to breast feeding !!
The King of Panvel Pediatrics, Dr Nadkarni sir also gave his experienced inputs.
The Heartthrob of Panvel Pediatrics, Dr Jaykumar Bhandarkar sir also shared his thoughts on planning program of the ORS week .
Inputs from the ruling & budding Pediatrician Dr Ashok Patil & Dr Vikas Gandal respectively also added colors to the press meet !!

🌸महाडमधील यशस्वी पत्रकार परिषद.🌸 डॉ. अजित पुल्ले यांनी स्वागत करून प्रकल्पाची पार्श्वभुमी सांगितली. डॉ सुनील शेठ यांनी या दोन सप्ताहात होणाऱ्या उपक्रमाची माहिती दिली. डॉ. दाभाडकर यांनी बालमृत्यूचे प्रमाण व लोकशिक्षणाचे महत्व सांगितले. डॉ. जोगदंड यांनी समज गैरसमज सांगून पत्रकारांचे आभार मानले. स्थानिक वर्तमानपत्रांचे बहुतेक सर्व प्रतिनिधी उपस्थित होते.

We all had a fun learning experience in the superb venue with good ambiance!! Learning from the world class faculty, as Dr Mohite sir, Dr Jesal Seth Mam & Dr Amit........is always a welcome move !!
The special mention & Thanks to the most Dynamic, Motivating,
Focused & Visionary President, Dr Abasaheb Patankar Sir, who has been commissioned to carry the good work done by the past Presidents of Raigad IAP !!
Sir has started with a bang with this successful Simulation workshop & with the support of all the Stalwarts of Raigad ( very long list ) more such successes are on its way !!
