Here is how I use the BuzzSumo tool to find relevant listicles to obtain powerful backlinks and brand mention benefits.

𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐩 - 𝟏:
Login to your BuzzSumo account

𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐩 - 𝟐:
Search the keyword or phrase (under the "Content Analyzer" tab) for around what you want to find listicles.

𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐩 - 𝟑:
Click on "More Filters," which you will find at the end of the filter bar.

𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐩 - 𝟒:
Under the "Content Type" options, uncheck all other options except "List".

𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐩 - 𝟓:
Click on the "Apply" button.

𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐩 - 𝟔:
Now it will show you all possible listicle posts. Export the entire list in an Excel file by clicking the "Export" button at the top right corner just above the results.

𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐩 - 𝟕:
Now explore each listicle post and find that website's email address manually or using any tool.

𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐩 - 𝟖:
Send an outreach email to them requesting to mention your product/service/brand along with a DoFollow link to your website.

𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐩 - 𝟗:
Repeat the same process feeding different LSI keywords on BuzzSumo.

𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐩 - 𝟏𝟎:
Don't forget to take follow-ups if you don't get a reply from some of them, even after 3 to 4 days of emailing. Remember, keeping them in a loop is the most important aspect here!

Using this technique, you can easily find your industry's top and well-performing listicles and obtain the benefit of quality backlinks along with brand mention.
